Walking up to the tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers

I picked some beautiful eggplants. The farm is beautifully maintained, if you need anything and in the East Windsor area, drive on in and pick something up. It is always important to support our farmers! No farming, no food. No farm, no future. Remember your holiday turkeys too.

This is me and my family's yearly trip to fruit picking. We love this farm for their diverse fruit and vegetable collections. They also have turkey for sale. The price is a little pricey but it's a great experience. Current price is $2 for a season card (you need to pay this every season), and $5 deposit per a person to go in to pick which would be credit back upon purchasing goods. Late July thru early September is fruit picking season but check their website to see what's in season before going. Oh and btw they have very friendly and helpful staffs :)

I had a fun time here with my friends! We were apple to get some veggies and apples. They have a variety of apples that are in season currently. We paid $5 deposit each and $2 lee turkey club card fee for our entire group. I also got a key lime pie. Some of their pies are frozen and have to be thawed, I was expecting actual home-made pies for $15.95. There was plenty of parking in their lot. There's a playground for the kids, and two portapotties if you need the restroom. There's also some live turkeys in the back if you want to purchase some (the smell was overwhelming so I didn't stay for long there) Overall, I had a good time. When u was checking out, I was helped by an older White woman and a black lady. They were both very helpful! I read in the reviews that there was racist encounters but I didn't experience any racism at all (I'm Asian).

Not even two weeks later and the pumpkin I picked is rotten. It's literally mush. For a pumpkin that cost over 10$ and I picked it right off the vine. Never in my life has this ever happened. I'll be buying one from the store next year.

Not sure how there are any negative reviews for this farm. We've been here on numerous occasions and never once had an issue. Signs are posted on where and what you can pick and the prices. Prices are fair for a u-pick farm. When you purchase the picking membership (I think it was $5 for the family for the year) it includes discounts for each month. You also need to leave a deposit to pick but it gets applied to your purchase. They are very clear when you pay not to lose your receipt. This place is extremely kid friendly. The trees are low enough that they can pick cherries and apples easily. There is also a nice little playground to let the kids burn off some energy. Turkeys are ridiculously good. Sign up for their emails so you don't miss the preorder. I also love that you can pick just about everything here from peppers and snap peas to cherries and pumpkins. Don't let the bad reviews sway you. Every time we have gone everyone is extremely pleasant.

Crazy rules and poor attitudes are what greet you at the door, and the experience just falls and falls from there.

The apple picking is great in the fall and other seasonal items are also typically pretty great as well.

I have found MOLD on many of their oranges, their grapefruit are dried out (not juicy at all), and I had a hard time finding a honeycrisp apple that didn't have a bruise or bad blemish. If you want better produce that is actually CHECKED by someone for quality, go to a supermarket. If you want cheap food and you don't care about the quality of the food, you can probably shop here.

Prices are comparable but would rather go here than shoprite. Fresher produce and better selection. The perishables, deli and other odds and ends still higher in price, but personally I'm there for fruits and veggies. Still has flower stand. Milk, eggs etc. Now bigger refrigeration section, cheeses, whipped cream, sour cream etc. Basically if you dont feel like going to another store or need something quick that you forgot in big store they have it. Dry goods and spices in bulk. Lines move quickly as per normal. I'm so happy it's back, no more traipsing around looking for my odd ball essentials and being disappointed. Poblanos and shiitakes here I come!! Since my local farmers are done for the season, it's nice to have one stop shopping for all my produce needs at affordable prices. Yayy check them out. Definitely worth it. So many ideas for cooking. Produce is beautiful and delicious.i hope they continue to keep up the quality and quantity of today. I believe imo it's a better store then what was there much cleaner and you're not bumping into other people when you're shopping. Cash or credit is acceptable.
