Passed by this farm & had to check it out! I love farmer's markets & if you do too, this is a great place to go. They have a huge land with ready to buy fresh produce such as watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, potatoes, zucchini, etc. The corn was $0.45 each & was sweet & delicious...it's mainly white corn with some yellow & the kernels are big & tight. They also have pick your own berries & flowers (flowers are $0.35 per flower & they are pretty & fresh...they also had huge sunflowers). Tip: Bring your own basket/bag to make it easier to pick produce & clippers if you plan on picking flowers. They have bags/clippers as well but it's just easier if you bring your own.

Consistently our favorite, I just wish it were closer. Love the fresh picked broccoli and kale on the table right in front of the checkout.

A fantastic resource for me. A short ride South makes farm to table possible.

I have found MOLD on many of their oranges, their grapefruit are dried out (not juicy at all), and I had a hard time finding a honeycrisp apple that didn't have a bruise or bad blemish. If you want better produce that is actually CHECKED by someone for quality, go to a supermarket. If you want cheap food and you don't care about the quality of the food, you can probably shop here.

Prices are comparable but would rather go here than shoprite. Fresher produce and better selection. The perishables, deli and other odds and ends still higher in price, but personally I'm there for fruits and veggies. Still has flower stand. Milk, eggs etc. Now bigger refrigeration section, cheeses, whipped cream, sour cream etc. Basically if you dont feel like going to another store or need something quick that you forgot in big store they have it. Dry goods and spices in bulk. Lines move quickly as per normal. I'm so happy it's back, no more traipsing around looking for my odd ball essentials and being disappointed. Poblanos and shiitakes here I come!! Since my local farmers are done for the season, it's nice to have one stop shopping for all my produce needs at affordable prices. Yayy check them out. Definitely worth it. So many ideas for cooking. Produce is beautiful and delicious.i hope they continue to keep up the quality and quantity of today. I believe imo it's a better store then what was there much cleaner and you're not bumping into other people when you're shopping. Cash or credit is acceptable.

The last market is on November 21st for 2024. We visited on Halloween for their special Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest and it was so much fun! Cute pups took the stage and everyone was a winner! The live band emceeing was great and very funny introducing all the pups and the crowd was lively cheering them on. The market is located in Hinds Plaza right in the middle of downtown Princeton and is a beautiful spot to browse all the vendors selling a wide variety of goods including these we said hello: Khloe's Paw Pastries - homemade dog treats with human grade ingredients! Freshly baked and so soft! Catalina Empanadas - homemade empanadas and the sweetest owners! Dogs love them too! Longview Flowers - the most gorgeous flowers and bouquets based on seasonal availability! Lost Bread Co. - my eyes immediately darted to the seedy sourdough and it was love at first bite. So many fresh baked loaves to choose from! Small World Coffee - they specialize in coffee, hot and cold caffeinated beverages, pastries and more with 2 locations in Princeton. Nutty Novelties - gourmet and flavored nut butters! They make cute gift bundles! And so many more... Come visit: Hinds Plaza (right in front of Witherspoon Grill) 55 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ 08542 Paid parking is available on the street and in the Spring Street Garage right next to the market. If you are still hungry after noshing at the market, Witherspoon Grill allows leashed dogs on their patio!

I came for one item, and I found it at the stall for Fruitwood orchards( peas!) there are about 3 other good local farms here too. Prices on the same items vary from farm to farm so it's best to walk through once before you make your selections. There are a few bakeries represented, and usually a few dairies. You can also find local pickles, honey, jams and salsas, soap, and even some snack items. Tip; if you park in the garage by library you have half an hour for free. Good luck with that though....
