Outside were food trucks for those who needed to wash down the beer. It's family friendly, animal friendly and group friendly. They had tables and chairs for the patrons and free water. Now, I can't forget the live music. It was great. The gentleman singing played some good blues music.

They hire & retain Klein High School students who are polite and respectable (no body art, nose rings or piercings, foul language, colored hair or brow hitches) who are mostly college bound. The students are generally delightful, informative, mature, helpful and garnish a memorable experience for such a family oriented business and community. The market provides an open air environment with no smoking or vaping which is nice. It is not fancy and is typical of a farmer's market establishment. The prices are fair and reasonable which is the reason they've been in business for years.

We decided to have lunch at the Original Tamale joint and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was also great and the food options were plentiful. There's also a little sauce bar to have with your food on site. No lids for the sauce cups provided at the bar. My 2 year old was free. $2 for a bucket (must use a Froberg's bucket for picking). We bought 2 to share among the 4 of us. We filled both close to the top (close to 6 lbs total). I'm not sure how much it cost per lb since I didn't pay, but i think it was $5/lb. Credit card does incur a 3.99% fee. We also bought some bbq: brisket sandwich, hotdog with turkey sausage and jalapeno sausage, Arizona green tea, bottled water, and 2 sausages to-go (jalapeno pork & deer sausage and regular sausage). It was a lot of food actually for $48. We also bought some baked goods to-go (especially enjoyed the oatmeal cookie, chocolate cookie, and pecan pie) . Cookies were $1.50 each or $12/dz. The medium pie (about 4 servings) was maybe $6-7. Being a Friday, there was not much to do at all because all the rides, games, and food trucks only run on the weekends. I guess it saved us money at least bc everything cost $3-4 (tokens). We still managed to stay 2 hours (it made our 1 hr drive worth it) because we ate the bbq at the shaded picnic tables while my 2 year old played on the playground. It's a small playground, but it had her favorite things- swings, slides, and a tire tower to climb. She had fun. I may go to Blessington for the pumpkin patch this fall (based off reviews), but fruit picking is pretty fun here.

I pretty much always get the same thing, which is an elote in a cup with everything on it and extra chil. It comes with the corn cheese, and chile! I honestly can't remember if it has crema since they prepare it inside the trailer where you can see, but I do know it's delicious! The service isn't slow but it also takes a little bit since it seems they make everything fresh. The staff is friendly enough lol. The location is spacious and accessible, and the food that I have bought from there is always really good. I have bought baked goods like cookies, breads, bagels, Indian food, and dog treats for my dogs. I've also bought fresh vegetables and handmade soaps. Today I was there on a rainy day, and the vendors were still there and ready for their customers. I was also impressed by the community support because people were still shopping in the rain, with and without umbrellas and raincoats.

This morning I got up bright and early at 630a to help set up tents, tables and chairs, signage for all the vendors to use; met the market mgr Candy (she's awesome) I talked to a lot of people (which I love) and i helped sell Morgan Elementary schools veggies from their garden. I bought some fresh kombucha from 3rd Coast and fresh homemade tamales from, momma's tamales in Houston. It started raining and lightning around 1045a; I needed to leave at 11am so it all worked out.
