I will always have a reason to come back and try something new. I use to be married to a Nigerian man and really have been craving the food! The Suya is spot on! And I love how the Suya and Jollof rice actually had the heat! Nigerian food can be very spicy and Passport made it happen. The meat pie has a lot of good flavor and less heat (spice). The meat pie dough is different but very delicious. It reminded me more of a buttery croissant! Janel and Tatianna were my servers! They really made me feel like I was VIP! Janel even was willing to have small talk with me and gave me a warm hug goodbye. I also had the please to meet the owner and have a chat with him! He was so fun to talk with and learn about his upcoming visions. Keep rocking it crew! I'm hooked!

The menu was nearly all burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and a bunch of deep-fried appetizers. A lot of deep fried foods... tater tots, french fries, drummies, onion rings. (Got the picture?) There were only a handful of tables in the restaurant portion of this establishment, but we were lucky to put a few together to accomodate our large group. Service was friendly.... and my drummie basket was delicious (even though it was deep fried) after a long day of traveling! There were a couple salads on the menu - - think taco salad and a chicken salad w/. ...you guessed it, "deep fried" chicken. ha! Everyone in our party had a good experience. :)

We just tried to watch the Badger bowl game there and were basically asked to leave. Our server was very nice and told us she could turn the game on for us at a TV of our choice. Knowing that the Gophers were playing at the same time and most folks in the bar were watching that game, I chose the worst TV in the bar (non HD). After we placed our drink orders, the owner came over to tell us they wouldn't be able to play the game because another TV was connected to it. We said okay, there are ten other TVs here, so isn't that okay? He said no, we won't be able to play the game. We asked if we could move to the next room where NO ONE ELSE was sitting. We were told, I already told you, we won't be able to play the game. I've never been treated so badly as a customer, especially considering we have been there many times and were planning to spend the whole day there watching football and spending money. The food is and has always been mediocre. It's bar food. There is no reason to return to Coach's after this experience, and with a wonderfully welcome staff and good food at the deerstand across the street, thankfully we will never have to.
