We found this restaurant on Google after we were done exploring the LX Factory nearby. The location was a bit off the beaten path, but we are so glad we came here! This was a cozy mom-and-pop restaurant that was filled with locals that were welcomed with hugs and kisses by the owners/staff.
While the menu was only in Portuguese, the owners were more than happy to read through the menu and address any questions. They were also both very welcoming and had ample stories of their own traveling adventures.
Off the bat, the bread on the table was warm and delicious. We ordered clams in white wine sauce, a grilled fish dish, and a roasted calamari dish that came with an octopus rice on the side. For dessert, we ordered a pavlova-- a sweet dessert to end a delicious meal.
On the whole, the experience was so warm and wonderful. You leave the restaurant feeling like family. If I find myself returning to Lisboa, this will absolutely be on the itinerary. read more
