This location has been doing a product reset now for several weeks. Usually, one or two aisles are clogged with carts and people talking to each other, not doing any real obvious work. One aisle we didn't bother shopping, because well it would have been more trouble than it should have been. Also, today the cashier did not acknowledge us at all while checking us out because she was talking to another employee. When she was through with our order, she handed us our receipt and went back to talking to the other employee. We most likely won't shop here again until they are through with the reset. We probably average spending $150.00 here a week. read more

I shop at Albertsons all the time and they have discontinued the CPK Cheese and Spinach Pizza. This is an all time favorite and makes no sense!!! I hope they read this and bring it back. It used to be the one pizza that always sold out on the shelf. read more

Some of the products are overpriced by a ton, so you just have to watch out for prices on everything. Sometimes they won't have a certain product I am looking for. I found this Albertsons by accident. I would not have gone inside if I did not see the Starbucks sign. The focus of this review is on the Starbucks, considering it is not in Yelp. My first impression was that the Starbuck's kiosk was a display, since I waited a few minutes for a Batista. Like many Albert son's it is understaffed. A sign saying that Starbucks will be closed for such and such minutes would be helpful. Anyways I am patient, and understood that in a supermarket, the Batista has to walk a distance to dump the trash or whatever. The Batista was friendly, and the hot coffee she served me, and the corresponding caffeine boost was worth the wait. As far as the Albertson's supermarket, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. The modern interior design, I feel makes it an enjoyable store to spend time in. read more

Every time we go to this Albertsons, there is the same employee who helps us with whatever we need but especially helps us with our app to make sure we get all the deals and discounts. All other grocery stores that are not Albertsons the cashiers speak to the customers during the transaction. This is so unprofessional, unwelcoming to be ignored by the cashier so she can only Converse with a fellow coworker not work related. If I could leave a negative 5 star I would. The last 3 times I've been to this store they have overcharged me. You then have to go to the service center to get your money back. Today they overcharged me $8.00 dollars. After waiting at the service desk for 9 minutes and 2 calls for someone to help me nobody bothered to come. I finally left $8 short. I shopped at the St George, Utah location on Dixie Drive. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The cashier, Ramona, was extremely rude, stating in an extra loud voice, YOU MUST NOT PUT ANYTHING HERE UNTIL I AM FINISHED. Finally, I was being rung up. The first item I had were two 12 count eggs with a rain check from 3 weeks prior, because at the time, they were out of their eggs that were on sale. She said rudely, just a moment, then when she came back to her register, after discussing my situation with another employee, she stated loudly to the next lady in line, "Do not approach until I am finished with her." The lady said, "I am just trying to stand on the next red box on your floor." Ramona said, "I said back." Then Ramona said, "You can not use this rain check, the other checker that issued you this was incorrect." You may not get the other egg products either. Manager, Mike, came forward, and said, "That's right, you may not get your rain check eggs if you choose to buy other egg products also. I said, "I only go shopping once a month, you are telling me you will not honor the rain check?" He said, "It's not our fault we didn't have the eggs when you previously shopped here." I was so upset about the rotten customer service, I choose to NEVER shop there again. THEY RUDELY HUMILIATED ME AND DO NOT HONOR THEIR RAIN CHECKS THEY ISSUE. read more

I used their Floral and Bakery services for a wedding. Floral: I am located in CA and was planning a wedding for St George. I called about 5 or 6 places that do wedding flowers, and Connie at Albertsons was by far the most professional sounding, so I went with her. My bride was a bit vague with what she wanted, but Connie worked with me and provided a gorgeous bouquet and bouttenaire. They were fresh flowers that fared well throughout the day, and she is a wonderful communicator! The bride received compliment after compliment on her bouquet. I would say it was spring-themed with a type of garden rustic look. Definitely something that only a professional could conjure. However, one half-con is that Connie is pretty busy and is approached by customers constantly, so she doesn't always answer her phone promptly. If you call her and she doesn't pick up, try calling back in a few minutes and she will answer. :) Bakery: Isabel was also very kind and professional on the phone. She had a creative and positive attitude. I believe Julie (Julia?) is the one who made the cake, and she made it beautiful! We ordered a double layer 10inch round cake with real strawberries and cream in the middle for the reception and it was fantastic! Everyone at the wedding reception kept asking which cake shop we got it from. If you are having a wedding, I highly recommend Albertsons as an affordable option. They made it so easy for me to plan this wedding across states! read more

Very poor customer service. Mistakes are often made. When my wife complained to corporate, they shot back a letter about filling a prescription after 29 day's, this was not accurate. We had no prier notice to their so called new policy by the stores manager. We felt it was retribution because we complained. Changing to a new store. Why fight them. Can't win. read more

Decent selection, okay produce and seafood. Not my first choice, but I'll take it over Wal-Mart. It's not as clean as Smiths, but it's right up the road. They usually have my Goldfish Puffs for when I need my fix, and I do like their dairy. Again, neither the best not worst grocery store, but runs with your decent bunch. read more

I am a frequent shopper of Albertson's Grocery Store. I have moved all my prescriptions to this location. Today I was greeted by Marcie (although the receipt says Sarah) at the pharmacy drive thru. She was completely rude. When she figured out she was in the wrong, (had last name spelled wrong) and when I treated her as she treated me, her attitude changed a little. Seems customer service is becoming a problem for this location as the courtesy clerks seem to have issues also. Sad, as the store is convenient and spend quite a bit of money there. I was so pleasantly surprised at how amazing their customer service is! I was looking for a specific item in the floral department but the florist was not there. The manager was incredibly helpful, contacted the florist, and searched for the item I needed and had it ready to go for me!!! Talk about going the extra mile! I used this pharmacy when it was on bluff, I knew the pharmacist from my childhood when we both lived in northern Utah. I followed him to this location even though it is WAY out of my way. Got to know two other pharmacists there that I love & trust, but being out of the way, age, & health issues has made it more difficult to get there as often. I feel bad about this. If I move to that side of town. I will definitely transfer all prescriptions over.. thanks for the amazing customer service. And thanks for not making me feel just like another number, but a person. This is not for Albertsons, it's about the Starbucks inside Albertsons. I was on my way to work and stopped to get drinks for me and 3 coworkers. One drink was off the secret menu and I didn't know the ingredients and neither did the barista. I googled the ingredients and told her how to make the drink, and then she asked me to step aside so she could help the next customer. I was confused but did it anyways. Then she proceeded to help everyone in line even though I was there before them. I finally got to order my drinks and then she made a drink incorrectly. I asked if she made the right drink (because I knew it was wrong) but she kept insisting that she made it correctly. I had already been at the Starbucks for 30 min and didn't have time to argue further. So I was late to work with incorrectly made drinks. Won't be returning to this Starbucks. read more

This was the first time I've been to this location. I walked in and their Valentines displays were the first things I saw. I was really amazed at how beautiful they all were. I felt like I had just walked into a high end flower shop! And even though it was Valentine's Day weekend, the prices were reasonable. The rest of the store looked pretty good. Most everything was clean. I was pretty impressed until I walked into the ladies bathroom. It smelled awful! It is in need of a remodel. They had a dirty sign half taped to the wall instructing people to used their hand and pull up on the toilet handle. The door lock on the stall I went in had been broken so they just put another one above it... looked terrible. The cashier that checked me out was friendly. As long as you stay out of the bathroom, this Albertsons is a pretty good place to shop. read more

We are from Indiana and they don't have Albertsons in the midwest. Everytime we visit the Vegas/Utah area, we always stop at Albertsons location for the Jalapeno cheddar rolls and donuts. They are very good and very fresh. Also very reasonably priced. Fried chicken in the deli was $5.99 for 8 pieces over the 4th holiday. Again, a vacation must when visiting the area. The customer service at this store is superb. I needed a pint of buttermilk and they were out. The associate in the dairy gave me the quart for the price of the pint. Another time I had finished unloading my groceries from the cart into my car and an associate who was leaving to go home offered to take my empty cart from me and return it to the cart return. This is the grocery store we use at least once a week. The workers are always kind to me... from the cashiers to the floor sweepers they always ask if I need help with anything and always acknowledge my kids. Organization/tidiness of the store could be better but the friendliness outweighs it. read more

Was shopping at this Albertsons in St George UT (on Dixie Drive) today and there was a couple in front of me purchasing a large amount of groceries. When the clerk gave them the total they paid part on a card but apparently still had a balance of close to $70. The couple then spent at least 10 minutes trying other cards and calling on their phones to check on available funds. I was next in line and had already put my items on the conveyer but the customers in line behind me were frustrated and moved on to other lines. The clerk was patient and courteous the entire time and after it was clear they did not have the money to pay for the rest of the groceries (that were already bagged and in the cart) the clerk pulled out her own personal credit card and paid the balance. The couple thanked her and left. I told her that was an amazing thing to do and she just said I like to pay it forward when I can and I hope they do the same someday. I looked at her name tag and it said Li. So if anyone in management at Albertsons is reading this, you should know, you have an amazing employee working for you!! read more

So close to my house but so far from quality food! My friend bought us ribs to go here last weekend and they were delicious, probably because they were cooking them fresh out front. I bought some yesterday evening and I really should have known better. They were under a heat lamp and I couldn't see inside the package. 7.99 later I bring them home, wait let me back up.....the stupid container opened in my cart and made a mess on my ice-cream but I still got them because only a little sauce got out. I get them home and I see fresh sauce was dumped over the old and crusty sauce. Clearly these ribs had seen better days. I was pretty hungry so i tried one. SO GROSS!!! Way too much sauce and just tasted old. Why put out food that is disgusting? Just don't offer ribs on days when they will sit around for that long. I would have found something else for dinner. But since they were offered I figured they must taste like actual food. NOPE. I wouldn't even have my dogs eat them. They probably would but I didn't want to give Albertsons the satisfaction of pleasing my dogs. The one start is for the very very nice checkout staff. They recently changed everything. How long does it take to move some products around? It's been almost a month and this store is still chaos, with isles 1/2 stocked. Like they can't decide where things go? weeks and weeks later? They aren't even remodeling. It's like a bargain store now. And their discounted prices on food are way too hard to understand, sometimes you have to buy 5 to receive discount - sometimes you can buy just 1 and receive the discount even though it says "when you buy three". They make a lot money off confusing the older and less inclined clientele. I am good at math and cannot figure it out, I am often charged more than advertised or didn't read the very small tiny fine print. Off to Smith's. read more
