This place has lost its mind. As if it isn't bad enough that their prices are 10 times more than any other grocery store, they now have carts that the wheels lock and alarm goes off when you start out the door with your groceries. The lady at the self checkout watched me check out my stuff and said thanks and as I headed out the door and then the cart locks and the alarm starts and ever stares. You'd think that maybe they would notify customers of this stupid thing they've started but no they didn't. I will never waste another dime of my money here. Only went because it was closer than Walmart but I will drive the extra 3 miles every time from now on. read more

I am a fifty six year old woman and have legally purchased wine since I was 21. I accidentally left my I.d. at home when I went grocery shopping here yesterday. I am a regular shopper at Albertson's, shopping here about 2-4 times a week for years. I went through Terri Jones' line yesterday. She refused to sell me wine even though I gave her my DOB. Clearly I am of age and she has sold me wine many times without even asking for my ID. I am TABC certified and it is not required by law to ask. She was argumentative and rude. I went to my car and called the manager. Lisa, a shift lead answered and she invited me back in and sold me the wine I came to purchase for a dinner I was having last night. Caution about selling to MINORS is appropriate but I'm no minor. read more

Albertsons is great. Prices are higher than Walmart, but they have great deals if you get the app and sign up with your phone number. Buy one get one free and U deals for you only and special rewards. Recently got $5 off a party tray. Highly recommend. The staff is amazing. read more

At Walmart you never see a store manager. But the Albertsons manager is always working his butt off to make the store look it's best. He's trained his employees to be friendly and courteous. I don't know his name, he's a big guy. He's always willing to help customers find what they need. You can't find a better manager in Texoma. Denison Albertsons will always have my business. Keep up the good work !! No store will ever be perfect but he sure does try to maintain perfection. read more

This store has it together for social distancing! They give you a sanitized cart when you enter and have stickers on the floor as to where to stand til the cashier calls you. The cashier is behind a shield and they have hand sanitizer for you at the check out!! Sanitation crews in yellow shirts are throughout the store! Kudos to you!! Wish other retailers were up to your standards!! read more

Yes this store needed to be remodeled and the prices are way to high but another Starbucks???? There is one on 75 that is closer but Starbucks is the worst price and quality! No thanks, I drive to downtown Sherman if I want great coffee and excellent service. read more

As far as the parking lot goes... baskets were everywhere and broken glass where one would want to park. The store was organized and well maintained and clean on the inside. The staff were pleasant enough. I personally think Albertsons is too expensive and choose to shop somewhere else unless it's that quick small thing and Albertsons just happens to be closer. read more

Horrible customer service, the cashiers are more worried about talking to each other then doing their jobs. The fact that this store has a good dozen full grown adult employees standing around talking to each other while an eighty pound girl is in the parking lot struggling to push carts is also ridiculous. I will not be spending a single dime in this store ever again. read more

Store is finally being remodeled after 26 years. The store is disorganized but to be expected with a remodel. The produce section is outstanding so fresh and clean. They have added a sushi bar which we don't have in the area. Sushi is made fresh every morning. Butcher area used to be stinky like old fish, but now it smell clean and fresh. Majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They do have a few younger associates who are just there for a pay check it seems. The regular prices are high, but if you shop from the ads it is not bad. They also have the Albertsons app which has a lot of coupons and discounts. The main reason we shop here other than it being close to our house is they do not complain about us parking in the lot when there are activities at Munson Stadium. read more

Customers service was pretty bad today! Went in and spent $200 on groceries. But was met with a very rude cashier! Hope to never go back!

I was passing through Denison last weekend and stopped in Albertsons to use the Bank of America Cash machine. I never use my ATM except to get cash at my local bank or to buy groceries at the store near me. I have never had a problem with credit card skimming in the 1.3 years I have been only using my ATM at those two locations. However, 1 week exactly after I used that ATM, I started getting alerts that someone was using my card on Amazon. I remember that there was a man standing over the ATM and looked like he was just leaning on it while using his phone. He moved aside and said something like Oh I am sorry. He was very polite. I think I remember that he was still lingering around on his phone after I used the ATM and was looking at the football merchandise in the immediate area. I left a message for the store manager. I even thought about filing a police report but the young lady at the police station was kind of mean and abruptly put me on hold. I figure they probably won't care anyway so I hunt up. I am sure it is a great grocery store and Bank of America is probably fine too. However, please beware of anyone lingering near that ATM before you use it. This was May 19th at about 9AM. read more

I have bought meat for years from this store, The last few months the steaks and hamburger meat are awfull. Have they started selling a lower quality of meat and trying to pass it off as the good stuff. Any one else having this problem with other Albertsons stores. I wont buy there meat anymore. read more
