He was arrogant and essentially told me that I just needed to suck it up and deal with the pain without any medication or help. I've been dealing with my chronic pain for over 20 years and have been under the care of some excellent doctors and I have also had the misfortune of dealing with doctors like him as well. They think they are smarter than you and everyone else and they treat you and your pain as if it is nothing but they want you to show up once a month so they can collect their money from you. On top of the doctor being a jerk I arrived at the office for a noon appointment at 11am and wasn't seen until 2pm and then when I was seen the nurse didn't even take my blood pressure correctly putting the cuff around my forearm instead of above my elbow. I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me. The only thing positive about this place was the receptionist was nice.

While recently coming to the surgery center for my husband's procedure, I experienced just that. The staff were attentive to us while my husband waited to go back for his surgery, and they even kept me updated with his progress by text which was very reassuring. I didn't know that would be an option. Before surgery, my husband's surgeon even said a quick prayer for us. Because we are religious, it really meant a lot to us that he did. I'd brought a hearing person with me as a second pair of 'ears', they couldn't hear him well either. He told me 'your hear fine' and repeatedly stated 'I will not speak up'. I informed him I was diagnosed by an audiologist, and it's included in my medical history/chart. By law (the American's with Disabilities Act.) I am entitled to clear and understandable communication from medical providers as well as accessibility in medical offices. He laughed at me.Since I could not hear him to do a proper medical exam, I ended the appointment and left feeling defeated. I need help managing a new POTS diagnosis, my hearing loss is irrelevant aside for being a communication barrier.

The ladies at the front desk are always welcoming, and Dr Hermann has always been kind and I always feel heard. They just finished construction in the infusion wing, which has made things more seamless. I highly recommend this office!
