Lot's of reasons I would never go back, I'll list the top 3. Number 1. The dentist is unprofessional, rude, and speaks to people as though they are idiots. Number 2. The staff eats out in the open, which to me in any health care profession or hell even a retail setting is unacceptable. Number 3. After having a root canal done twice... because it wasn't cleared out the first time I could still feel on that tooth and had to go elsewhere to get it done properly. On top of that after being told I needed about ten fillings and well doctor should know best right...?! I've had sensitivity in places I never had before. Less than a year after fillings one fell off totally and another one when I was getting a cleaning ((somewhere else thank goodness)) every professional to look at my teeth said how horribly the fillings were done and they weren't even the shape of my tooth...teeth are curved not flat and pointy. Wish I could give this place Zero stars. Should have paid attention to other reviews as well. BE WARNED, this place is the worst. Very surprised that Oswego has let this business go on for so long. First off, I stoped by to get a quick tooth fixed. I got numbed and waited. 45 minutes passed and I talked to one of the nurses, to see why the doctor who is a total jack ass, very rude and disrespectful, hasn't started working on my tooth. He then replies and says because he was doing other stuff. I mean why schedule me at that time if you have to over see other nurses and why not hire another doctor? Why make someone wait 45 minutes and then act so rude? Total experience was unacceptable. Finally he starts working on my tooth, but because he was in so much of a hurry, my tooth is higher and now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. His uniform was just so ungodly disgusting by smell and wet from a previous job he had done. He then tried to work on me with out un sanitizing his hands. I mean come on dude. I had to repeatedly tell him he was hurting my mouth because he couldn't get around with the tools cause of his weight. Don't get me wrong, I'm not skinny by no means but if you can't do your job without hurting patients, then it's time to make some life changes. He kept coughing the entire time (he wasent sick, I'm guessing from his overweight). Went in for an appointment about a week ago, I can't believe how horrible of an experience It was. First off calling to get the appointment set up was a task in itself. The receptionist was a total ass when scheduling me. Then when I was told to fill out new patient paperwork she treated me like a child. The dentist,The dentist did not have a mask or gloves on when working with other patients which was a red flag and at that point I should have just left. I could not believe the unprofessional service I experienced and how unsanitary the whole "Office" was. Will not be going back, and would never recommend this dentistry to anyone. read more

I cannot imagine anyone truthfully going to this dentist and be happy about it. He was horrible. It's dentists like him that make children (and adults for that matter) hate the dentist. He needs to go back to dental school & retake the "Chair-side manner" course because his is frightening. I had teeth extracted & when I indicated to him that I was in pain. In a nutshell, he told me to "deal with it". Yes, it was that awful. My present dentist said that they have to fix many of Dr Andrews' mistakes. The staff is very rude & unprofessional. Unprofessional and I ended up with more damage after a root canal. The doctor was eating in between patients and not properly sanitizing hands only put gloves on. I will not be recommending this office or practice. read more

I went to this office yesterday and can we say unprofessional as ever. I had an appointment for my girls to this office for their initial visit. I was sitting in the waiting room for over 23 minutes with no updates. The rude receptionist at the front desk went to ask the hygienist about the delay and I was told that it will be another 30 minutes before we are seen again. I told the lady at the desk I was not able to wait any longer and I had to take time off work to get this appointment in the first place. When I asked for a new appointment I was told I can't get anything after 4pm until mid May which in my opinion is ridiculous. Not to mention my daughter had to go to the restroom here and she said it was very nasty in there the atmosphere there was not bright or airy and I felt as if I was in very dirty office that has not been clean in years. read more

It was my first time to see Dr. Andrew in Oswego Illinois. It was the worst experience of my life. The place was filthy. Splattered tools that would be used in office. Dr. Andrew DID NOT USE GLOVES WHEN DOING THE EXAM. ALSO WIPING HIS BEARD ON CHIN WHILE TALKING And THEN PUTTING HIS HANDS IN MY MOUTH. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND HIM. THE Girl THAT DID X-rays did use gloves. But, when it was time for Dr Andrew he did not. I asked for my x-rays to go to another dentist the receptionist told me there was a 40.00 transfer fee and then told me I then had to pick them up. I complained to her the reason that I was going somewhere else. She said she is always in the room when examining. She was NOT. I WILL CALL HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR UNSANITARY OFFICE. read more

SCAM!! they tried to charge me a $15 office visit co pay even though my card CLEARLY says $0 and when I called my insurance they confirmed that I did not have a co pay rather the insurance pays them the $15. read more

Please heed my advice and DO NOT go here. The office is dirty. There were dental cleaning utensils piled on a dirty counter with broken cabinets next to a sink. I used the bathroom, which had NO towels whatsoever to dry my hands. I looked in garbage to see what other people had been using to dry their hands and there were no towels in the garbage, only toilet paper. The Dentist had left the office Before the hygenist had even called me back for my cleaning! My husband had his cleaning, but the dentist left even before his cleaning was finished. But the office had the audacity to charge our insurance for an exam! Not to mention the fact that the minute or two he had been there his shirt was dirty and stained with food, and his shirt did not even cover his belly. I was so disgusted that I decided not to stay after waiting 45 min for my appointment. read more

I had my wisdom teeth extracted, and it was a painless experience. I actually asked if he removed the first one , and he was already done( and two were impacted) I had no bruising or pain, I went back to work for the remainder of the day. I'm a dental hygienist, so my opinion is pretty relevant. My apt was great. I also want to mention very few general dentists supply nitrous, In fact in 10 yrs, I've never worked for one who does. This is a big plus in regards to extractions, not to mention a huge cost benefit in comparison to being sedated/going to an oral surgeon . Thnx! read more

My family moved to Oswego and we decided on Dr. Andrew for a dentist. What a HUGE mistake! Anyone with children BEWARE! First the office staff is rude and disrespectful. They eat at the front desk for all to see and then go in the back to work on your teeth with out washing their hands!!! Dr. Andrew did this several times too!!! He was not kind or understanding to my kids. He was mean and rough for no reason. He told my 6 year old girl (in front of me) that he had to give her a shot to numb her and she of course started to cry, he then raised his voice at her and said "if you are going to cry like a baby then I won't fix your teeth and you can stay in pain" She of course then really freaked out. I left with my daughter! My husband thought I was over reacting and decided to try a cleaning with the dentist himself. My husband is a strong mans man...if you know what I mean and he came out and said the dentist was rough and actually hurt his mouth during the cleaning. He felt he was agitated and took it out on him. Word to the wise if you do use this dentist.....NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN ALONE WITH HIM OR THE STAFF!!!! BETTER YET JUST AVOID AT ALL COST AND FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST!!! I felt like I was watching a Dateline program about horrible dentists when I went there!!! read more

This man is BARBARIC!! Everything about this office is completly unprofessional...Dr. Andrerw (I use that term loosley) is extreemly rough and agressive. I went in for an extraction, on medicaid i might add, ended up getting 2 pulled. He numbed me up,,,as he began I was still able to feel what he was doing...that feeling of metal touching a tooth feeling...he contined to clamp down on my decayed tooth and shattered it to pieces!! So he proceeded to pull the next one...still no extra anesthetic until the 2nd tooth was out. When he did finally give me more anesthetic he didn't even give it extra time to kick in before he started digging out the pieces of the tooth he shattered!! I was moaning, crying, kicking my legs, thrashing in the chair...he never stopped!! Started grinding on something...I'm assuming it was my jaw bone...he never explained. I still continued to feel most of what he was doing. He cut the side of my cheeck in this whole process. His belly was all over my head, kept pulling my hair...his assistant provided very little suctioning, I was gagging on fluids and particles of whatever he was grinding...I had to turn my head to drain my mouth as I was beginning to choke on it. After all this he put in 2 stitches, one of which he put in my cheeck, came out shortly after I returned home. After all was done, I went to the bathroom to try and get myself together as I was shaking terribly, I wiped my face, looked in the mirror, and found a piece of tissue from my mouth in my hair!! How does that happen? I was a complete wreck when I left there...I just sat in the car and cried. I have never felt so violated in all my life...I felt as if I was RAPED!!
