I recently visited Oswego Dental after a concerning experience with another dentist. My 13-year-old daughter had a light cavity that was supposed to be filled at Manus Dental, but to my shock, they drilled so deeply into her tooth that it resulted in a recommendation for a root canal. I had seen the cavity prior to the procedure, and it was clear that this level of intervention was unnecessary. It felt like malpractice, so I sought a second opinion at Oswego Dental to advocate for saving my daughter's tooth with a permanent filling instead. From the moment I walked in, the staff at Oswego Dental were incredible. They greeted me warmly, and I was seen right away. The assistants were professional and kind, and Dr. Jain was simply amazing. She carefully reviewed the before-and-after X-rays, took additional images to confirm her findings, and immediately agreed that the tooth could be saved without a root canal. Her expertise and calm demeanor reassured both me and my daughter. Dr. Jain explained everything clearly and was kind, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable. The office itself, while located in an older building, had modern, clean equipment and excellent software that allowed me to see everything on a large monitor. This transparency was much appreciated. Thanks to Dr. Jain and her team--Elizabeth and Marnie--for their outstanding care, my daughter was able to keep her tooth without needing a root canal. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and will definitely be returning to Oswego Dental for my own dental care in the future. I accidentally made an appointment here, thinking I was booking with a different dentist. While the receptionist and dental hygienist were both very kind and professional, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. The dentist seemed more focused on pushing unnecessary services than actually providing care. She didn't speak harshly, but it was obvious she was upset when I declined, which made the interaction uncomfortable. The cleaning itself lasted maybe two minutes and left my teeth feeling like they hadn't really been cleaned at all, definitely not the usual "fresh from the dentist" feeling. The office also felt run down and poorly maintained. While I don't expect everything to be perfect, I expect a little care to the way their office is presented. To be fair, it did seem like they were sanitizing the tools. Overall, I wouldn't return. The staff was nice, but the quality of care and environment just weren't up to standard. read more

I just love this dental office and the people that works there. They are so friendly and shows so much h concern about my teeth. I love my dentist. She is so nice and attentive. She answers all of my questions and listens to me and comes up with a plan. The office and reception area is so warm and a bright atmosphere. My daughter also loves to come with me because she said the doctor is nice. I would recommend this place ro everyone because she cares and will listen to you and give you the best care. I take both my 10 year old and my 5 year old sons here. Sarah, Vero, and Cecy are always on top of appointment schedules, reminders, and always greet us kindly when we come in. My oldest son has Autism and ADHD, but Dr. Jain and her assistants Marnie and Elizabeth were so great with him. They also showed patience and handled my 5 year old (who is the wild child) like a breeze. This was the third dentist office we tried and I am so, so glad we found them. I have been coming here for more then 2 years! I love the service. The front desk ladies ( Nelly & Jess) that work their are very welcoming and informative. Doctor Kasar is very kind and professional. They make it very easy to understand what going on. Assistant Marnie does such a great job. I have been going here for years and have gotten major dental work done including fillings and root canals. They are very informative and are very flexible with scheduling an appointment with the preferred dentist on site. The receptionist/Dental Assistance Daniella is very helpful and informed us in great detail on every type of procedure and what it would cost for everything. Doctor d was awesome. She explained the procedure that she was doing. I was having a Crown on one of my molar tooth. She explained everything and why she had to do what she was doing. Today's dentist appointment was amazing filled 4 cavities within 30-35 minutes!!! They were very kind and gentle highly recommend going here!! If you want the best care and treatment ask for Crystal and Maggie they were heaven sent! Very grateful for everything they have done to me!
