Denise did my fitting and gave me more time and CARE than I've ever gotten....and I'm 80 years old! They took my insurance. They made suggestions. I bought and paid for an upgrade of lens for my half rimless glasses in September. Since September,…read moremy lens has developed stress fractures from poor manufacturing. When I ordered replacements and went to have them put in a new frame, that is the same design as my original ones I was told that it can't be done because it voids the warranty; so I asked if there was a new warranty on the new lens incase they break in the same way, "no". I asked if I could have my lens uncut so I can have them put in somewhere else. I was told "No, that's not how we do it" I confirmed that I paid out of pocket for the lens so they belong to me but I'm not allowed to have them unless they are put back into the old frame. When I asked if it was policy in writing to do things this way and was told " We don't need to be taking things there" The Optician Marcey A. Denardo then got even more defensive when I pointed out that just because something has always been that way doesn't mean things can't be changed. I gave in a let the Option Marcey A. Denardo put the lens in the old frame only so I don't feel like I wasted my $200 because when I asked for a refund for the issue and she could keep the old lens I was told "no" again. If this was a chain store then I can see how changing a company policy would be out of the question, but this place is privately owned, so I don't understand the lack of customer satisfaction.
