Why should you make All Rite your first stop instead of the DIY big box store?…read more Three reasons; knowledge, inventory, and quickness. The knowledge and inventory equal time and as we all should know, time equals money. And they are consistent. Big box stores are very inconsistent regarding the knowledge of their employees. Horrible. Also, you don't get turned in to human resources because you asked for a nipple and a female elbow. Yes, that has happened (HD).

I'm not a plumber so I'm not educated enough to purchase the right parts for this specific job. I decided I would use google as an attempt to find an actual plumbing store around the Memphis area. Google lead me to All - Rite Plumbing Parts. I walked in and was helped immediately. I showed the guy at the counter the photographs of what I needed and he said, "that's a (insert correct product name). He went in the back and returned with a box containing everything I needed. I know this is a long review, I'm just trying to point out that the guys at All - Rite Plumbing really know their stuff. It was no nonsense, they gave me exactly what I needed. I will definitely go back if I need plumbing parts. These guys are knowledgeable and won't try to rip you off.

After having moved back to the area, I called Smith's because of the great experience I'd had…read morepreviously lived here. No hiccup in the quality of service. Everyone who answered the phone or returned calls was courteous and helpful. We needed a new toilet with bidet seat for a disabled son. Is tomorrow ok for the tech to come out for a quote? Wow! Next day, Cabe arrives, no spiel but an honest assessment, good information, no BS. He was knowledgeable, friendly, had an easy humor. And he listened to us! Next week he installs the toilet and bidet, and on his way out I ask him to look at the faucets in the laundry area. They were pretty bad, and as I had already thought, should probably be replaced. Give me a quote, I say, and when he does I ask when he can do the work. Right now, he replies, pending clearance from the office. Clearance granted, he replaces the faucets with new quarter turn ones. Yes, he had to cut into the wall, and while he wasn't obliged to patch it up, he put it back together fairly well. Not long after that we called about a leaking shower. Again Cabe shows up. Replaces the cartridge, but while the leaking stops, the shower handle spins 360 and doesn't check the water from reaching scalding temperatures. But he doesn't support that brand of faucet. Nevertheless, he needs only a few parts - he actually hunts them down at the local big box store! When he leaves, we have a working shower that won't burn our son. He didn't have to do go to all this effort. But he demonstrated a concern for our son's needs. We were the focus of his attention. Excellent service and a real nice guy. Cabe was outstanding, a real gem. Trustworthy. He's like a good friend. I can't recommend Smith's highly enough.

Do not use Tim Ferguson for any Generac/Generator servicing. Used them for a general service and…read moretake care of a simple error code. The tech changed the oil and serviced the generator but did it before fixing the error and then proceeded to not be able to clear the error. Therefore the oil couldn't cycle through to prevent further damage because the engine wouldn't crank. Supposedly the service manager couldn't troubleshoot either or they just wanted to charge me $200/hr for diagnostics and the error which they thought was the control board. I do not know if they didn't know how to fix or if they just wanted to charge me more money. Simple google search said change the battery and I did that myself and generator cranked and no issues. Was trying to find a reputable company so I don't have to maintain it myself but Tim Ferguson is not that company. Very disappointing given their supposedly good reputation.

John called ahead verifying appointment time and arrived when promised. Very friendly and knowledgable. The pricing was FAIR, meaning appropriate for a licensed and insured company who has logo'd company trucks full of tools and parts. Yes, they are more $ than Joe Schmoe with a junky minivan and a cell phone but 'Joe' can often nickel and dime and quality is inconsistent. I think John did a good job, communicated well, and had a professionalism that I appreciate. On another point - heads up that there are Lead Generation companies that post to fake listings in Yelp, GMaps, and elsewhere that use the names of real companies (like Magnolia). It's infuriating to call such clowns and find out they are not the company presented but an organization that will send the work to a clown working out of the back of a dilapidated heap. Research, double check on different platforms to verify the business, phone numbers, and photos are not generic facsimiles.
