Coming from a 182 dropzone to a 206 dropzone doesn't seem like a big change, but man is that extra room and extra altitude awesome. This is a great place, even though they're the only game in town(and state), they don't take advantage of fun jumpers or tandem students. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Same guy who I paid to pack my rig did a jump with me. This is my new home DZ and I'm pretty happy about it. read more

Back in April, I called to make my skydiving appointment for July 9th at noon. The lady I spoke with took in all of my contact information and TOOK MY CARD NUMBER as there was a "$50.00 deposit" which was refundable as long as I showed up for my appointment. After 3 long months of waiting and getting excited for the jump, I drove from Fairbanks, which was a 7 hour drive one-way. I got there about a half hour before my appointed time. There were quite a few people there because it was such a beautiful day. I didn't think anything of it since I had an "appointment." The whole time, I was not informed on how things work, where I was supposed to be waiting, what plane I was going to be on, etc etc.. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting. I waited for 5-6 hours in the sun getting burnt to a crisp. By that time though, the wind started picking up so they could no longer jump. So of course I went to talk with the receptionist because by this point, I'm fuming. Even with my appointment and paying them $50.00 to hold that spot for me, I was not able to jump. Oh, "why" you ask? Oh, that's because the lady I spoke with back in April didn't tell me that it was actually "first come first serve". If it is "first come first serve", then I'm confused as to why I had to do a $50.00 deposit. My "appointment" was taken from me by walk-ins. I don't know what kind of business would take a walk-in before an appointment. Appointments are made for a reason. I didn't want to drive that distance for the possibility of a jump. I called to make that appointment to KNOW that I'm going to be jumping that day. All together I wasted $120.00 in gas, 14-15 hours driving a car, and all of my time. I will NEVER go back to them. read more

Everything was great until the reception lady forgot to tell my group where to go to watch them landing. The group that went ahead of us got driven over to where the people land to meet them and watch. But when it was our turn we stood there and waited until we finally decided to ask when they'd be jumping and she told us to drive down the street to watch and that they'd be jumping in 2 minutes.... We had no idea where to go and finally got over there just in time to see the very last part of the jump... She didn't apologize for us almost missing it. Everyone there was awesome and friendly but this lady seemed like she was living in her own world. read more
