    boarded flight 2227 from LAS to LAX boarded approximately 11am today 12/18/25 - The attendant/lady checking in passengers was EXTREMELY rude! She harassed me about my luggage in which I had TWO allowed pieces. A carry on and a personal item which was a garment bag with a coat inside. I rolled the garment bag which she INSISTED that it wouldn't fit! Which is nonsense because I've flown this same small aircraft several times this within the past few months! It was so bad I began to feel extreme pain. She continued to make me stand and haggle me. Finally she calls for "assistance" and this person harassed me all the way on to the aircraft as if I were a child saying she wanted to "verify" that my garment bag would fit under the seat. Again it's a black cloth garment bag that rolls up! I am extremely upset and in an enormous amount of pain behind this. The extra stress causes me to tense and adds pain! I have 9 screws in my neck and required time boarding. She disregarded the fact that I'm disabled! AFTER THIS RESERVATION I AM NOT FLYING WITH ALASKA AGAIN.

    Early morning flight to Los Angeles. First time flying Alaska. They are in T3 of Harry Reid International. Flight was on time, friendly flight crew and got me to my destination on time. Cant ask for more.

    I hate domestic travel. The standards of service for US brand airlines is terrible. No wonder people lose their minds on these social media videos. Alaska Airlines will test your patience for sure. Plan on a full day at the airport, even for what I would think is a simple flight from LAS to SFO. It's so bad, I could be half way to Japan by now. I had plans of taking trips to some US cities this year but Alaska makes me want to avoid all domestic flights.

    Normally a great place to fly from but today I'll refer to hide the true identity of the gate person and call him Carlos Rodriguez. So I'm traveling in 1st class with my mini luggage and a bag with my Air Jordons heading back home. So I scan my tickets and informs me I have to many bags! Like who is Carlos Rodriguez to tell me I have one to many bags. Then he lies to me and says it will be outside the plane when I arrive, but as soon he puts his rat laws on my bag Carlos Rodriguez changes his tune and then indicates I have to go to terminal and wait for my luggage to arrive. Thanks Dude , you stink! I could have just passed and let my AIR JORDONS chill with my luggage but no you on superiority trip with lying fork tongue took Franks bag! Beware of this tactic! NOTE for reasons to hide his identity the name Carlos Rodriguez is not his true real name!

    **This was my first time flying Alaska Airlines** Usually I am a Southwest flyer (I am a Rapid Rewards member), but Alaska is my boyfriend's and his family's preferred airline. We used them from PDX back home to LAS, however we used Southwest from LAS to PDX, as he was unable to find a good arrival schedule with Alaska. We flew first class on this flights and we were seated in 1D and 1F, respectfully. My boyfriend has flown first class on Alaska a few times in the past, so he knows what to expect every time. It wasn't a long flight (1 hour and 47 minutes) so the meals that we got weren't all that special. After checking in online, we were required to choose our meals through Alaska's website. My meal was a light protein based meal and my boyfriend's meal was a chicken based meal. Our meals came with dark chocolate made directly out of Seattle. The flight overall went smoothly, even though we departed Portland an hour late due to bad weather in Las Vegas. I was sad when Virgin America, one of my favorite airlines, merged with Alaska though. I am looking forward to flying with Alaska again next time we go to Portland.

    Alaska airlines you suck. We have been sitting at the Last Vegas airport for hours and no food vouchers at the minimum! Over the intercom our flight was given a last call to board so we dropped our orders and ran for the gate only to be told it was the flight to Portland that was boarding and they made a mistake on their announcement. So we are sitting here hungry and tired and no service people at the kiosks. Oh yeah and Becca in Boise is no help when I called. You really suck as an airlines.

    The Alaska Airline personnel in Las Vegas are exceptional. They went above-and-beyond to get me checked in for my flight. The staff were extremely courteous, attentive and friendly throughout the check-in, boarding and flight process. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire Las Vegas Alaska Airline staff.

If I ever have a flight issue I just complain and usually the airline assesses my claim and gifts me a voucher in return. Tonight I'm on an overnight flight to the east coast and it has 1 layover! Flight was delayed by an hour or so. Thank GOD it wasn't delayed by 1 day like my last flight I took in October 2025. They do gift us hotel voucher and Lyft credit as well as a full refund if we need it... It was a hassle tho. I had to cancel business trip due to that delay. The pilot was stuck somewhere and we only could on the flight the next day. I was so exhausted because they had us wait for about 5-6 hours for the pilot to never show.. Otherwise, smooth flights. Just make sure to take ur snacks and drink with you, otherwise I don't have many complaints of this airline. Always know their terms, which aren't as nice as southwest, but similar to frontier. Usually flights can be super cheap like $66 as a low flight price... probably even less expensive if you book downstairs in the airport otherwise this flight was kinda pricy for spirit! I got a window seat tho! Downloaded some Netflix movies, and or I will just sleep through! Said my prayer and were about to take off LATE! Anyways once we're in the air, it's overrrrrrr, we're almost there! NOW, what I think airlines should improve, is the way we all exit the airplane. They don't give instructions. We all just get up and leave but orchestrating that at times can be messy. Passengers get so mad if you try to get off the plane before them! Like, I mean, not everyone has a carry on, so we can just walk past the ppl who need extra time to gather their bags! I wish they had 2 exits or 3 exits! Great, lesson learned... Flying back home from Las Vegas, we followed those instructions. Unfortunately the ticketing agents provided no assistance, were extremely rude and barely supplied us with the necessary tag. We again check in with gate agent 2 hours before our flight to ensure everything will be smooth. They assure us it will but to check with them again just prior to boarding. We do so and they again tell us you're good, just boarding with the pre-boarding group. Pre boarding begins and we are immediately belittled and harassed because WE failed to get our wheelchair tagged for boarding.. WHAT? I asked you 2 times what we needed. Now, every boarding group is lined up and the gate agent is intimidating and demeaning both me and my wife won front of all other passengers because we didn't handle this before. When asking them for clarity and reminding them that we visited the gate agent multiple times prior, they had the audacity to threaten us with not allowing us to travel. As if WE were the aggressors. This was completely unacceptable and I'm pretty sure in violation of some degree of ADA rules. I've never felt more embarrassed and if I have to endure the glares on this flight as if we were out of line will never my southwest again

They were soft, squishy, had good flavor, and the garlic bread was good also. The bottom slice got soggy but that's ok. Every other part of the flight went smoothly. Pilots were experienced and professional. Was a great flight besides the one flight attendant. Good job Delta, but I still like United better.

    Delta and Air France Need to Get It Together…read more It's incredibly hard to even leave a proper review for Delta and Air France, but what I experienced July 2, 2025 shows they desperately need to fix their communication issues. And it's not just me--another woman I know also had a Delta/Air France connection this week; she arrived in Paris, and her luggage didn't even arrive with her. These problems clearly aren't isolated. My trip started in Las Vegas, where a dust storm kept us sitting on the tarmac for a long time. That delay caused my flight to land late at JFK. I had to sprint from one side of the airport to Terminal 3 for my international connection. While I was in the air, Delta automatically moved me to the next Air France flight because I wasn't going to make my original connection--but the Delta app never updated my ticket. So when I arrived at the terminal, I had no valid boarding pass for the new flight. The woman at the counter refused to print one for me, and by that hour, the self-service kiosks had already shut down for international flights. Even though there were still about 50 minutes before departure, they simply would not let me on the plane. Meanwhile, my luggage made it on board. Because of that, I was forced to stay overnight in the airport. The desk attendent claimed there were no hotel rooms left due to storms along the Northeast coasts that caused a lot of canceled flights. Not one worker was willing to stay later to help any of us from that flight. Is overtime not an option? Delta did provide meal vouchers when I called, but JFK was a miserable place to be stranded--filthy floors, nowhere clean to sit or lie down, and no way to rest. Being alone made it even worse. The next morning, I tried to shower in the Air France lounge, but the day rate was ridiculously high. Thankfully, a kind employee took pity on me; I didn't shower, but she allowed me to grab some food and a drink before my flight. My luggage--supposed to go from Paris to Marseille--was already moving on without me. My family had to call and place a hold on it so it wouldn't leave Paris, since we were supposed to meet in central France for a wedding. When I finally arrived in Paris, with limited French, I had to navigate retrieving my luggage on my own. And despite being told "everyone speaks English," that was not the case. Thankfully, my brother's girlfriend's family in Paris helped, but I still had to take an hour-long taxi to their home, costing almost $100--all because Delta and Air France failed to communicate properly. The entire experience was exhausting, expensive, and completely avoidable. These airlines seriously need to improve their systems and communication, because passengers are the ones paying for their mistakes. This was my first international flight, I had hoped to join my brother and his girlfriend on that flight to France instead I was stuck navigating this alone.

Had I read those reviews first, I would have saved myself from one of the most frustrating and embarrassing travel experiences I've had in years. I honestly didn't think there could be an airline worse than Southwest Airlines. I thought that was as close to bottom-of-the-barrel as it gets. I was wrong. Frontier somehow manages to go below that. This was my first time flying Frontier, Tampa to Denver, with a return back to Tampa. On the outbound flight, we boarded and then sat on the runway for 45 minutes, immediately putting us behind and causing connection issues for a lot of passengers. Many people missed their flights. Then, after finally taking off, we were told there was a medical emergency. A young man became seriously unwell, and the plane had to turn around and go back to Tampa. That alone pushed us to about an hour and a half late. During all of this, the cabin was freezing, and there was no water, no food, no Wi-Fi, nothing. You're just sitting there, uncomfortable and stuck. But the part that really crossed the line for me was the baggage situation. I specifically purchased the Frontier "Business" bundle because it stated two checked bags at 50 lbs each. Not 40. Fifty pounds each. That was the whole reason I paid for it. At the airport, the check-in clerk made me take 18 pounds out of my bags anyway and kept pushing me to get them closer to 40 lbs each. I'm standing there like... what exactly did I pay for? It made no sense. What that turned into was complete chaos. Nearly three-quarters of my belongings ended up out of my luggage and in my hands. I was walking through the airport carrying a loose, messy pile of clothing, trying to juggle everything while also dealing with a roller bag. I dropped things more than once. There was no way to hold it all together. It was awkward, stressful, and honestly ridiculous. And people noticed. Other travelers were watching me struggle, and you could see the sympathy on their faces. That part really got to me. It was embarrassing. You don't expect to be walking through an airport like that after paying for a bundle that was supposed to make things easier, not harder. That moment changed how I feel about traveling. I ended up getting rid of my roller bags during the trip and switching to duffel bags and a cart just so I never have to deal with something like that again. Travel used to be easy for me. I had a system that worked. Now every time I go near a baggage scale, I'm going to be wondering if I'm about to get thrown into another mess like that. I have a massive issue with how this was handled, and I'm not going to forget this experience anytime soon. At this point, Frontier is my airline of last resort. If no other airline can book my exact itinerary at the exact time I need, then maybe I'll fly Frontier... when hell freezes over. Frontier showed me the worst side of air travel, and I will go out of my way to avoid them going forward.

One reason I selected American Airlines is they were one of the few airlines that offered a nonstop flight from Las Vegas to Philadelphia International Airport making my travel arrangements so much easier. Everything started out perfectly smooth. The check in was easy and very efficient. It was done quickly through TSA Precheck. The lines at the counter were organized, and I did not experience any lengthy lines or issues during the check in process. The boarding experience was just as smooth. The gate agent's announcements were clearly communicated and the boarding process was easy! I didn't bring a carry on since I had checked my bag. I was going to be in Philly for 4 days. As a bonus the flight left on time and arrived 30 minutes early! When you are flying across the country arriving on time is a definite plus, but even better when it's early! It was a convenient one stop flight from Las Vegas to Philadelphia, combined with a very easy check in process and the flight was fantastic! The last time I used American Airlines was to Fort Worth Texas and then to Huntsville Alabama!

The plane wasn't full but I didn't want to risk being in a middle seat. The movie selection was dismal but it helped pass the time. American Airlines didn't charge for sodas or cookies. The Doritos were $7. (It is what it is). The flight attendants did a great job of taking care of us. I had to download the app to check in. That allowed me to easily print a baggage tag at the airport. The luggage arrived quickly at DCA.

I am recovering from breast cancer and a double mastectomy--which, in case you didn't know, is not a light little spa day. I can't carry more than 5 pounds right now. I asked for a medical baggage waiver so I wouldn't have to pay $50 out of pocket which United in LAX granted easily and not only did you refuse to even look at the letter, you threw in a snarky comment about people from Los Angeles? Maybe that's where the man who broke your heart is from, or better yet the woman he left you for. Kecia it may not be your location. I think it's all about your energy and attitude because I can't see anybody wanting to deal with that nasty mess. Ma'am, read the room. Read the letter. Read anything. Because the lack of compassion was easy for anyone who is paying attention to Reid. Good day you salty chick.

Hubby and I have been to the islands of Hawaii, Oahu- ten times and Maui- for our honeymoon- once, a total of eleven times. Our son was really small, but he's been to Oahu twice. We went with my mother-in-law and her husband to Oahu once. And we also went with a couple of friends to Oahu once too. The first time, in 2004, we didn't know anything about it, we didn't use the Red Eye, so we missed on almost the entire first day because we arrived at 2 or 3 pm-ish. From the 2nd trip on, we always flew on the Red Eye. Always had a good meal, but it was late. Started using sleep aids so we missed out on those, but I think that rest was more important. Every flight attendant extended the Aloha Spirit to every visitor, they are all smiling, are all very nice, as well as very helpful. I think that one year we got a logo freebie bag, which we still use and have to this day. To date, I believe that these flight attendants have the best demeanor. The luggage policy was one bag checked for free, weight limit of 55 pounds, unless that has changed. But please do check the website. The website is user-friendly. You can book your trip using their site. You can also check your miles. On the Rewards Program, recently, the airline eliminated losing your miles. I currently have enough to book a one way flight for free. This would be the second time, that I earned this as a Rewards member. Hubby became a member after I did, but he lost his miles. Not so good.

You'll take transit over to the D gates from Terminal 3. I typically don't get too many delays with JetBlue, especially flying to New York City. They offer non-stop flights every few hours. I try to book the early flights if I can when going to New York City to avoid any potential delays. Most of my flights arrive early, typically by 20-30 minutes when flying into JFK! The seats are spacious on JetBlue. Each seat comes with a TV that includes free movies, music, and DirectTV. Some planes have charging capabilities too! Throughout my flight to New York City, JFK, the team at JetBlue offers drinks, like soda or water, as well as free in-flight snacks. I always get their pop snacks and pretzels! If you need more legroom, you can upgrade to different seats on JetBlue. When you check-in for your flight, you can change your seat easily through the mobile application if there are open seats available. Now, if only JetBlue offered a non-stop to Orlando Florida from Vegas!

This wasn't a hopper flight! It was six hours of total boredom without entertainment! This was my first and because of this last flight with JetBlue!
