as a ex vorsa examiner i take my 25yr old motor home to daves test centre…read more as i want a good test on my motor home and know they are not looking for repair work. as motor home is stood for five months of the yr . i do a pre inspection my self . do my own repairs just fitted aset of goodridge front brake hoses to vehicle . as was addvised last mot front flexi hoses corrosion apearing. so on inspection changed both front flexi hoses . the staff are very friendly and you can discuse any aspect of mot relating to your vehicle if fails test . or passes .good clean test centre you made welcome at reception desk.and you can watch test being done on your vehicle so long as you do not distact tester from doin test on your vehicle if tester finds a fault he will show you faulty item or area at fault . so keep up the good service dave . the talbot man.

Whilst the fault was minor, I believe any other garage may have made it into a much bigger deal, and charged me. However, Rarley not only fixed the problem within 10 mins, but didn't charge me. Absolutely awful. Went here for a new exhaust for my car and they seemed really genuine and told me…read morehow they were going to look after my car and get it fixed asap. Well... big mistake. They replaced the exhaust but messed up the rest of my car! I had to return three times after as my engine light kept on coming on as I was driving and each time the mechanic admitted that it was his fault as he had not clipped the sensors back in! After the third time, I could feel my car dragging and my fuel was running down quicker than normal so I took my car to another garage for a diagnosis which cost me more money on top of the £250 that I had already paid to hi q and they advised me that the sensor clip that I had been shown by the mechanic at hi q which he had said that he had forgotten to clip back in was now broken! Took the car back to hi q and they called me a liar. I was in tears in the shop. The manager on duty was shouting at me. I had my kids in the car and all I wanted was for my car to work normally again. They made me feel like a criminal. I'd done nothing wrong but pay them for a service that was not fulfilled. Please do not go here, especially if you are a woman as I think they saw me as an easy target. My car still doesn't drive right now, they have supposedly fixed it. Awful mechanics and awful customer service.
