Juan picked up and said he would ask another agent to call me, but no one ever contacted me. A week later, I checked the listing I was interested in and saw that it was in contract. The business address is someone's home, so I'm not sure how legitimate this business is. I don't know what's going on with this real estate service, but all the agents at Twyford are unresponsive. Like many reviews these days, I'd take the other reviews with a grain of salt (tip: check how many reviews those profiles have) because the profiles seem to exist for the sole purpose of manipulating the business's overall rating.

Everyone in NYC knows how difficult the rental market has been this summer. As someone who was…read moremoving from out of state, I essentially showed up in Brooklyn in July with zero prospects and a two-week timeline to find an apartment. It was...stressful. During my first week here, I saw a 1BR on StreetEasy listed by Donawald Realty. Having experienced several "dream" listings suddenly going into contract within 24 hours of being posted, I was a little desperate and decided, on a complete whim, to pick up the phone and call the number on the website to try to get to the front of the line. Turned out to be my lucky day -- Lynn picked up and I asked her about the listing on StreetEasy and another I had seen on the site. As expected, both of those were either gone or already in contract, but she asked me what I was looking for, asked me some questions, and told me about an off-market listing that she was planning on posting the following day. She and her colleague Lee ended up letting me see the space the SAME afternoon (literally 30 minutes after the phone call). Lee was absolutely wonderful to work with. He gave me a detailed tour and was warm, kind, helpful, and professional, taking care to show me his license even though I didn't ask. He took the time to answer all my questions and let me apply first to the spot. I signed the lease the next day. All in all, it was a seamless process, with excellent communication throughout. Thank you Lee + Lynn! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new spot.

In summary: Lynn is a consummate professional and wonderful person to whom we'd return in a heartbeat if we ever left the beautiful apartment she found us.

Nelson was very helpful with anything I needed clarified, and went over every single page of the lease with me in person to ensure that I understood it. Before anything was signed or checks were handed over, he ensured that I had his license number and provided the government webpage to verify him.
