Care One Hospice provided the most exceptional care to my mother in her final weeks of life. I first contacted the agency weeks before based on the positive Yelp experiences. At that time I was just gathering information but luckily came into contact with a gem of a social worker, a true empath Dale. Dale was so helpful, understanding and truly compassionate & caring in the way he spoke. I immediately felt a sense of ease in speaking about hospice and he understood the difficult journey for my family. I found true comfort and guidance for which I am eternally grateful. When we did officially enroll 2 weeks before my mom's passing, Dale was available to speak with me late one evening and immediately helped the enrollment process such that she was enrolled by the next morning. Then the nurses visits began. Every single nurse that visited in the weeks before my mom's passing was kind, compassionate and thorough in giving updates. They informed us regularly and followed up efficiently on care needs that included DME such as a bed/oxygen tank, meds, incontinence care etc. They always had incredible follow through and did this with such dignity and grace. A HUGE thank you to Fiona, Honeyfaith, Lilly, Norma, Joyce and anyone else I may have forgotten. You were by my mother's side in her most vulnerable moments and we are so thankful for your kind compassionate hearts. I relied on Care One and Dale once again after her passing in arrangements for cremation with the mortuary. We had some difficulties in handling things and Dale stepped in and moved things along. Enrolling in hospice is such a personal and often painful journey and our interactions with Care One made everything so much more bearable. They are an incredibly kind, compassionate care service and I would highly recommend, both as a physician and daughter.
