I'm a designer that drove an hour so I could be at my clients home to assist her with selecting fabrics. The day of the appointment she doesn't show up or call. I tried calling her several times, texted and no response! This is unacceptable business practice! I was going to refer them other clients depending on their service as my husband is a developer and I handle the interior designing. I do not recommend them based on their unreliability and lack of communication or follow through.

Quite Disappointed! Initially customer service was good. He responded to my inquiries and seemed…read moregenuinely helpful. This gave me confidence in us using his services. The slings were well-done, however the positive aspects ended there. Chris also took a chair from my father-n-law's patio table set and to fix one of the straps along with 2 chaise lounges that needed new slings. As you can see in the picture below that the repair was subpar. After picking up our chaise lounge chairs to get to get new slings we get a text from Chris telling us he needs to do a welding repair and he's not going to charge us to do the repair because it was a pleasure speaking to me in person. Now, I am confused because there was no damage to the frame and inquired about what needed welded, He replied, "It happened during installation. Sometimes welds pop of frames. We usually charge for repairs." The possibility of welded never specified, so I'm thinking why would someone pay if it this happened during the repair? Secondly, he had told me that the price would be less if we paid cash and denied making that statement. I expressed that we really wanted my in-laws to see there patio done when they got home from a hospital stay. Chris picked up the chairs on April 27th and said May 18th should not be an issue. Now, on May 20th and then the 22nd I am asking if we can meet him at their house so get the furniture. No response, so I text and call again on the 23rd and 24th. Finally, he tells me Sunday, the 26th. He dropped the 2 chaise lounges off, one with the poor quality welding repair, and did not bring the chair that needed the strap repair. He said he would drop the missing chair off on June 1st. I ask if he could please be so kind to give an ETA so someone could be there because we didn't want my father-n-law to attempt to move anything. No response, just left it June 2nd in the entryway of their house. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for him. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your patio furniture needs. There are many other businesses that other better quality work and superior customer service. After paying $687 you would expect better quality work and communication. We had already referred 2 people who were going to use his service and after our experience they went elsewhere and suggested you do too!

She recovered a cat-scratched West Elm chair with two favorite fabrics that had been hibernating in my closet for far too long. Now it's a perfect fit for The Jetsons' living room. Quality workmanship and reasonably priced, Tonie will work with you on tricky projects. I had botched a large sofa cushion trying to do it myself (bad idea). She took it apart and with some of my leftover fabric re-sewed it and pieced it together where it's completely unnoticeable. Highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience with Silver Boomerang Upholstery, and wanted to spread the word…read moreabout what a fantastic business this is. It's a family-owned shop run by Cesar, and his father Noe. They were referred to me by Wertz Brothers Furniture, a well-established and longtime business. I also found an article online about Silver Boomerang having done some work for a successful Los Angeles interior designer, which was impressive to me. A cabinet had been shipped to me from the east coast, and arrived in badly-damaged condition. I used my refund to hire Silver Boomerang to make the repairs. Antonio had to rebuild the pedestal, which had been smashed into the cabinet - it couldn't even stand up on its own. The veneers were broken and split, and one of the doors had fallen off - it was a disaster, to put it mildly! Cesar and Antonio worked their magic on my poor cabinet, and made it whole and beautiful again! Antonio did a remarkable job on the pedestal, and the broken veneers were repaired to where no damage can be detected. Antonio also neatly removed one of the glued-in shelves inside the cabinet, so I could house my computer in it. Finally Cesar did a beautiful job refinishing the cabinet, in a rich espresso matte finish. I couldn't be happier with the final result. I also had all six of my oak dining room chair seats reinforced, as the fabric holding in the springs had become threadbare. They're very sturdy now, and for the finishing touch - Cesar polished all of them to gleaming perfection. He even constructed a small enclosure in the shop for a homeless mother cat and her six kittens; providing them shelter and food for a few days, until rescue volunteers could pick them up. I was very touched by his kindness! It's truly impressive that Cesar and his staff take such pride in their workmanship. They are simply excellent -honest and hardworking. I highly recommend Silver Boomerang Upholstery, for all of your refinishing and upholstery needs.
