As a new patient, I found it convenient to have my paperwork already completed online so that I didn't have to go 15 minutes early. The medical technology that they have are all very modern. The x-ray machine that covers 360 is very cool. The dentist is super friendly and efficient. She goes over the basics with you and be available for any questions. I loves my hygienist; cleaned my teeth like a boss. I walked out feeling like a transformed man in my mouth. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a dentist if you're in Malvern.

Over a month ago, I fired my dentist…read more Long story. Basically I didn't like the way they treated me. I needed a crown, and they became very difficult to work with. So I set out to find a new place. Mind you I had a tooth that had just gone through a root canal, so time was of the essence. 1-800-DENTIST led me here. Since it is close to my work, I gave them a try. They got me in within a few days. Now, I could bore you with a lot of details, but I'll get to the point. The nature of my crown was fairly difficult, way in the back bottom molar. So difficult that in the end I made 4 visits here to get it right. Let's just say they got to know me really well the past month. Now, you may be saying to yourself, "Why would he give them 5 stars if they made him come back 4 times? Isn't that a bad thing?" You see, most people wouldn't consider that a positive experience. At my old dentist it wouldn't be. But there's a reason I am praising the Smile Exchange. I spent years in customer service. I was on the service side, and in quality control. I consider myself an expert on how it works. Smile Exchange treats you like a valued customer. They realize they are a service industry. Not every dental place does this. Along the way, Dr. Rolotti explained every reason why things were happening the way they were in great detail. I understood why there were problems, and what needed to be done. He gained my trust that way. Despite the complicated nature of my issue, he approached everything with tremendous attention to detail. But that's not all. You see, when a service industry has a situation where there's difficulty in the service even when they're trying their best to get it done, the most important thing they can show you as a customer is empathy. I truly felt that they honestly felt bad asking me to come back again when things didn't go as planned the first time. As a result, I felt like that even though my experience was complicated, that they were going to do everything possible to make it right. They did. In every sense of the word, they did it. They're worthy of your business. Everyone there treats you like a friend (say hi to Steve at the front desk for me). No, they won't make going to the dentist all sunshine and roses. All they'll do is serve you in the best possible manner they know how, and they'll make you smile along the way. In the end, that's the best customer service around.

First issue is that I never approved sealant and the second issue is that I took the kids to another dentist afterwards to check the work and unfortunately there were only four teeth with remnant of sealant and nothing else. Sealant usually last for years if they were placed in the first place. If this is not highway robbery I don't know what is. If I tell you I was taken advantage of that would be an understatement. It's sad to see a supposedly professional office Fraudulently charged clients for work that has not been rendered. I had to get the sealant thrdone at another dentist. Also charged me for x-rays for my wife that they have never provided me copy of even though I specifically asked them for copy of all x-rays.

First of all, I asked if my insurance would cover my regular dental checkup and was told it would. I in fact discovered after the fact that this office was out of network, which led me to incur personal expenses out of pocket. As these are almost always avoidable, I found this very disappointing. Second, I was given an XRay without being warned of the possibility that I would have to pay out of pocket for it. Apparently the XRay that was provided was a special type of XRay that is only covered for me once every few years, while a normal XRay would have been covered. I'm disappointed that I was not informed about this, as it would have saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Third, I discovered that the office never filed a claim with my insurance provider, meaning I wasn't going to receive even a partial reimbursement from my insurance. It wasn't until 7 weeks later when I inquired about the status of my case that the admins at Omene filed this claim. The dental practice itself seems to be high quality but given that I've never had so many problems on the administrative side before, I felt that this was a fair score.

I went to the ADoML for a second opinion and had a good experience. I decided to check them out…read morefurther, as they are close to where I live. I asked to get a dental cleaning and got scheduled pretty quickly. They requested that I send them my latest X-rays. I told them I do not need an evaluation of any kind, just a cleaning - in and out... Nevertheless, they insisted, saying it's their policy, so I reluctantly requested my current office to send them X-rays, which they did. While in the dental chair, I repeated my request to just get a cleaning - nothing more. However, they insisted on taking the X-rays yet again - I'd guess to just bill my insurance because they could... I was not happy to waste time and get radiated again, but complied. The dental hygienist tried to upsell me while I was in the chair! I may've agreed on some the procedures, which were offered, but the mere fact of pressuring me while I was already in the chair and not asking in advance was appalling. In addition, planned another appointment after the visit, and did not have time for all of that, so I refused. Before the cleaning was completed, the dentist came into the room, and the hygienist promptly stopped the procedure. Again, I said I do not need an evaluation, just the cleaning. Again, they insisted on it. The doctor spent a few min. with me and left. I missed my next appointment and was kind of upset with what took place, but lo and behold, they send me a bill for the doctor's exam! I've had dental insurance for many years, and cleaning was ALWAYS free. Apparently, not in this office. We called a couple of times trying to resolve this issue, but the office manager would basically have just angry monologues, and barely let use speak. So, if you are a sucker for unexpected charges and pressure to upsell while in the dental chair, this office is for you. I will pay the scummy bill, but I will never get even close.
