Good eye doctor glasses are kinda expensive, but the ladies are really helpful with helping you get your glasses adjusted and fitting into your face. They have many different locations so that's also nice depending on where you are can schedule an appointment close to you. I don't like sometimes I come in and they switch my doctor up. I wish they just keep my appointment with the doctor that I'm scheduled to see but overall today I had to go visit so I'll say five stores. I was looking for a new eye doctor since my previous one retired. I was told when I made the appointment that the doctor could write a prescription for the specific contacts I wore and had been wearing for 15 years or more and confirmed with them the brand and type. During the exam I was told to try something different which I did and they bothered my eyes so upon a return visit I requested the contacts that I requested the first time and finally got the correct prescription. After my new glasses were made I found out that during the eye exam my glasses prescription was misread by the Tech and my left eye now had a lower power than the current eye glasses I was wearing. I was told by the office that if I came back in they could verify if there was an issue but they would charge me $50 if it was not their mistake. When I returned they verified that they made a mistake and I had to schedule a 4th visit to see a doctor and get a prescription that was correct. Upon my 4th visit the eye doctor didn't listen to anything I said and changed the prescription in both eyes to be way too powerful when I only asked for my left to be changed to what it was in my current glasses. I went back in and asked for the same thing after seeing how much he changed the prescription for both of my eyes. He was reluctant to change it back and he did get the power correct the 3rd time, but added a big stigmatism to my left eye. My right eye has always had the stigmatism. Needless to say my left eye still doesn't like the prescription and after 4 visits I still don't have a prescription as good as my previous one, so I am wearing my old eye glasses. I won't be going back. Bottom line: They don't listen to anything you say and all they care about is getting your money. Very disappointing experience. read more

Excellent care. The Check-in process was a breeze. Dr Glass, Julie and Rebecca(student optometrist) were all 10/10. Julie saw my younger daughter and was exceedingly patient with a tired and bored child that had difficulty following instructions. Both my daughters were checked and Dr Glass explained to them as well as me, in medically appropriate language that we could understand, without oversimplifying things. We were in and out in less than an hour and I didn't feel we were rushed. The checkout process wasn't as seamless but I think it's because the person checking out was just trying to help and wasn't an actual biller/check out person. I'll forgive that. I was visiting from out of town and had was in pain from a brewing eye infection due to wearing my contacts too long. I was able to get an appointment the same day and a very through evaluation. EVERYONE here are wonderfully kind and attentive. Dr. Bass was exceptional, he diagnosed the problem and why, along with a treatment plan. Having moved from Washington State to North Carolina, I was searching for a new eye doctor. After extensive searches and customer reviews of various offices regarding VSP insurance and the best bang for the buck, I was turned on to MyEyes and Dr. Byrd and associates. My whole family went here to get their eyes checked, some needed glasses, and all were pleased with the services. I even had my other glasses updated new lenses and at a reasonable price. I found my eye doctor and will continue to go to. Great frame selection, great services, and continued repairs...awesome! read more

Excellent staff (at the Dunn location)...they were very attentive, knowledgeable and extremely nice. My son (who is 14) apparently got a splinter in his eye and they never even had to call me back for the procedure. My son was very grateful as well considering they made it pain free. Avoid this place if at all possible! I got a Groupon for an eye exam and $100 credit towards glasses. While the exam itself wasn't bad, the follow-up with the guy who sells the frames and lenses was awful. He was very pushy and the lenses were ridiculously overpriced. Even with the credit, we couldn't afford to get glasses there, so we decided to take the prescription and go elsewhere. Now we get harassing phone calls from them telling us we can't just take the prescription and go somewhere else because we owe them money (we don't - all you have to do is read the Groupon to see that we were under no obligation to buy glasses from them, only that we had $100 credit if we chose to do so). Exam was great. Sales after I paid for my glasses vanished. No one ever contacted me when my glasses should have been in. When I called them I found out my glasses were at another store almost an hour from the store where I had my exam/ ordered them. Not sure what to expect when I go pick them up. read more
