Beyond having a professional, friendly staff and an immaculate office, Dr. Halabi is just an obviously kind person. Being at his office feels a lot like walking into your cousin's house during Thanksgiving--everyone's super friendly (but professional) and you immediately feel welcomed each time. When wait times occurred, they were extremely minimal, and Dr. Halabi always made himself available to answer any questions I had about the process. I never told him that I have a low-key fear of dentists and orthodontists because it just never came up! I always felt like I was in good hands with the doctor and every tech. Lastly, the quality of the straightening was outstanding. I walked in with teeth looking a bit like broken piano keys and now I feel like they could be in a magazine. Dr. Iggy has been my daughter's dentist for over 6 years, she was always afraid to see the dentist when she was little and it took one visit to Dr. Iggy's office and my daughter wants to go there everyday. He is so patient with kids and he has dental equipment with cartoon characters and different kid friendly flavors to clean her teeth. The whole experience is so amazing. His staff is great as well. The office is clean and their equipment is modern and based on my experience when I would take her I decided to start going there myself. So he is my dentist as well now. I would have to pay $250 to take molds and x-rays before I can be told a price for Invisalign. The woman on the phone realized I was surprised by the cost and tried justifying the cost. I feel like if you feel need to justify the cost than maybe you know that it's out of the ordinary. I went to 6 other dentists (including a few in the area) that was able to schedule a free consultation providing the total cost and the timeframe. I wanted to get an estimated cost to determine where to go to get them done. I feel like when they charge $250 consultation fee this will deter cost conscious patients and most people once, they pay that fee will feel obligated to get their work done here since they already paid $250. I also feel like this would be the type of dentist that would nickle and dime you for everything since they are charging a fee to give a basic estimate of cost. I understand that the doctor is doing work and they shouldn't work for free. However, I went to two other dentist in the area (in the same 1-mile radius) that took 15 minutes and they either provided a full cost (and they did the x-rays for free) or gave an estimate cost with a basic look in my mouth and that took less than 5 minutes.
