Alan Arita is the Mentalist! He went table to table and performed magic tricks that left our guests amazed. His wife, Suzette, was also a hit! She made all sorts of awesomely detailed balloon favors for the kids. Our guests were truly impressed with their services. Thank you for making Emmett's first birthday extra magical! read more

Alan was so easy to work with and was so professional from the start. I hired him for my son's 1st birthday party. One of my guests said this was the second time she saw him at a party and she gets mindblown every time she sees him. He also did a special trick for my husband, son, and I and it was Ah-mazing! If you want something different than the traditional magic show for your party, hire Alan! He also sent us a thank you card after the party. I've never had a vendor do that for me before! I also hired his wife Suzette to do balloon twisting. The kids loved it and even the adults wanted balloons too! She makes these cute balloon head bands and even puts little lights in the balloons. It took several DAYS till the light died out. I was so impressed. One of my adult guests said she would hire her for her own birthday party. read more

Alan performed table magic at my granddaughter's 1st birthday party earlier this year and most recently at my grandson's 1st birthday party. He was AMAZING at both events! I could hear the applause and shouts, "How did he do that?" around the room as he went from table to table. MIND-BLOWING! HE IS MAGIC,! We also had Suzette and her balloon twisting talents. The kids AND adults were SO excited about her creations...from CUTE, CUTE, CUTE balloon wristlets and headbands, to balloon bows and arrows and swords. SO AWESOME! These two add HAPPINESS to any event! Really wonderful! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! YOU MADE OUR PARTIES TRULY MEMORABLE, read more

Alan performed for our company event and I recommend him if you're looking to entertain party guests. He is so professional, kind, and hilarious! Plus, magic is such a great ice breaker for people. So many of my coworkers said great things about his performance and I'm so happy we found him on Yelp. He is worth every penny! read more

We had the pleasure of having Alan entertain our guests back in October for my daughter Tori's first birthday. From our initial consultation to the day of the party Alan was very professional and prompt with answering our questions. He is truly a professional and is very customer service oriented. As far has his skill, he delighted our guests ranging in different ages mind blown and entertained. You can tell her takes pride in his work and enjoys interaction with people. He worked as if we were his only clients, truly personable to say the least. We will not hesitate to book him in the future and recommend him to others as well. I hope this review serves readers well in knowing he was the type of entertainer you want for your family. read more

We had Alan and Suzette at our baby first birthday party and they were the highlight. Our party was mostly adults so I wanted to make sure there would be something fun not just for kids. Alan is perfect for that! He works the room, walking to each table or group to perform. Honestly as people were leaving the party the most consistent comment was how their minds were blown by Alan! Suzette as a balloon twister is an absolute genius. Kids AND adults were lining up for her creations. I'm no party planner so was nervous of making sure our party would be fun and memorable - having Alan and Suzette there definitely did the trick. Highly recommended, I'd give ten stars if I could! read more

We hired Alan Arita to do magic at my niece's high school graduation party and he was Fantastic! From the moment we booked him some months ago, he was super prompt and professional and made the entire process so simple and quick. He answers his emails and yelp messages very efficiently so getting his availability and answering any questions you may have is very easy. I'm not a huge magic fan, but even I was impressed with the tableside / roving mentalist magic he performed. There were no rings coming apart or handkerchiefs coming out of his mouth...which would've been fine for a first birthday party, but not for a HS grad party. He walked around and entertained the entire party and many people came to us and said how great he was! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for entertainment for events. He's fantastic! read more

Alan came and hosted our company holiday party. Everyone was mesmerized, and he kept everyone entertained. I would recommend him for any occasion. read more

Very quick to respond to inquiry. But apparently you must request services for the magician if you would like the other additional services. Mainly, it should be stated on the website as a package deal (combo must include magician) rather than individual services separately such as face painting and balloons. Otherwise, your party isn't worth it, & they will reject your request cause they will "probably get another request." read more

We were thrilled to have Alan entertain us with his magic at my daughter's first birthday party! He was easy to talk to and friendly during the reservation process! I highly recommend Alan to be apart of your celebration festivities! read more

Alan Arita was amazing! He was so easy to work with, accommodated us even at the last minute. My guest loved that Alan was up close at their table showing off his magic tricks. Just when you think you've already seen him and his tricks (because I did 7 years ago), he comes up with new ones and still wows the crowd. Another plus with booking Alan is that you can book a face painter and balloon twister at the same time. The face painter is amazing, she's super talented. The kids also loved balloon twister as well. AND...all for a good price! I read more

Alan is amazing! We had him for a graduation party this past weekend and he did not disappoint. I know I wanted a magician but I didn't want a kiddie magician, I wanted a magician that would appeal to all ages. Alan is a mentalist and no, he does not hypnotize you. When we set things up, first of all, he was available. Surprisingly, since he is so freakin awesome!! Set up was a breeze and we booked him just like that. He showed up on time and went right to it, strolled around the party and entertained everyone. Everyone was amazed with his craft and the things that he did. Some stuff, jaw dropping. Very professional and a man that knows his craft. Thank you Alan for an unforgettable experience. Don't hesitate to book him, you'll be amazed too!!!! read more

We had Alan for our Son's 1st Birthday party and everyone enjoyed his magic. He came on time, very professional and friendly. He started doing magic with our guests who arrived early and during dinner time he went through every table to perform and show his skills. I love what he did for our Son - J03252016B - it's very memorable.. thanks Alan! I recommend hiring Alan if you have a special event. His prices are fair for what he offers. And because there was too many things on our timeline for our event - entertainment, recognition, slideshow, cake, games, etc.. our schedule fits with what Alan had done - Strolling Magic - rather than having a full Magic Show - which would've consume the whole time for our party.. Plus He's very good with what he does! So anyway, overall we enjoyed having Alan and will have him again should there be another event in the future.. read more

Jaw dropping is all I can say about Alan! He is next level and will wow his audience. We asked Alan to come for my kid's birthday party, and as I was busy running around for the party, all I could hear was the shouts of amazement coming from where he was performing. Alan is entertaining, unique, professional, and knows how to flow with the crowd. He is also very helpful with providing tips in general with large parties and events, as he has years of experience. Everyone complemented the party in general, but many highlighted how great Alan was. A must for sure at your event! read more

We've seen & experienced Alan Arita's Magic at multiple celebrations & have always had a blast! His acts are so creative & mind boggling! When we had Alan at our son's 1st birthday party, all our guests couldn't stop raving about him! The way he interacts with everyone, including children, is what makes everything so much fun! All the children that were part of his act came up to us & were so happy! His special gift to the family was especially awesome! Suzette Arita's balloon art was a complete hit! I invited Alan to entertain our dinner guests for my husband's birthday! It was awesome!! Our guests loved it and it was a perfect surprise for everyone! I first saw Alan perform at a 1st birthday party for a coworker's son and was immediately hooked. I loved that he would come up and perform in front of you at the dinner table. Most of the time, we are used to seeing magic up on a stage while we sit in the audience. This was up close and personal and I loved it! For our party, he was very prompt and easy to work with. Everyone was talking about it afterwards and it was a great bonding experience. We liked how there was a lot of variety and it wasn't limited to card tricks. There was a lot of interaction and everyone got to participate. Magic isn't just for kids! We loved it and I can't wait to watch him again, hopefully I get invited to another party where he is going to perform! read more

This review is long overdue. Alan Arita was great to work with throughout the entire process. It was a pleasure to book our son's first birthday party with him. He is very personable and professional. We decided to go with him because of all the great reviews, and he did not disappoint. Alan Arita's strolling magic was definitely one of the highlights of our party. He entertained not only the kids, but the adults as well. Our guests commented that it was great to have some entertainment for the adults to enjoy, too. Final thoughts: We're so glad we booked Alan, our guests were talking about his magic for weeks! Alan is amazing. Very entertaining n humorous. Must see his mentalist "How did he do that?" Tricks. Would book him again.

Alan Arita is one of the best magicians I've ever encountered! Great with all ages and especially patient with grade school students. Very personable, kind and humble! He spends time talking to you before and after the show, not one to "just leave" once his performance is over, which is so rare these days! His magic act is top notch and his close up magic will leave you scratching your head...thinking "how did he do that?" LOL I have to say that Alan is the best! I've used him multiple, multiple times to entertain students and adults alike. He always throws in a new wrinkle each time he comes to perform. You wont be disappointed! read more

Alan made our sons 1st birthday so magical! First of all, he makes the booking so easy for you and he responds to you very quickly! second, he gets to the venue on time! or even earlier and starts doing magic for all the guest that were there early! third, his magic WILL stun all the guests, not no boring cheesy magic, and trust me. I always try to figure out all the magic magicians do... haha overall i give Alan 11/10! Not only because he was so great! buy because he also gave our little boy a special magical gift for his birthday, something he will have for the rest of his life! just plain awesome! thank you Alan! read more

All of his tricks blew my mind! Now I'm not the type to be easily entertained, but his tricks were really cool. Because my daughter was the celebrant, he had a special just for her and I don't know he did it Excellent entertainment and a family friendly person, great for parties! read more

Alan and Suzette (awesome husband & wife duo) are a true pleasure to work with! Alan responds promptly, is professional, & explains everything thoroughly. At first I wanted to hire Suzette for face painting & get another balloon twister but I'm glad I took Alan's word for it & had Suzette do balloon twisting instead & opted out of face painting. They were prompt to set up for my son's 1st birthday & honestly thought they'd be good at their craft but I wasn't prepared for their mind blowing performances. I could see all my guests amazed & smiling at Alan's table side magic; he was engaging & interactive. I wish I could've watched more but I was way too busy running around so I'm so appreciative that he reserved a trick just for the birthday boy so I could witness his amazing talent up close. He had my husband write my baby's name on a dollar bill then made it disappear, only to cut open a lemon inside a separate bag & pull it out from the lemon covered in lemon juice & all, topped off with the birthdate of the birthday boy on the dollar serial number...I mean, wtf!?!? Crazy!!! I know there's a trick to it but I don't care, I totally enjoyed how well he entertained me & my guests! All the kids were ecstatic with Suzette's balloon sculptures, going back again & again for more. She was especially accommodating to my spoiled little 5 year old boy who loved her so much he couldn't stop talking to her asking her to make more for him & before I knew it had a pile of balloon creations at his seat! She doesn't just use plain balloons or is an average balloon twister, she uses bright, metallic balloons that are colorful & eye popping with little poofy pom poms & blinking LED thingies inside to create a balloon masterpiece! I was like, whoa I thought she reserved those special ones for the birthday boy...they're for everyone! Even my 70-year-old aunty wanted a unicorn for herself lol! Her crossbow balloon even shot the balloon arrows & my other favorite was the huge octopus with colorful arms...loved it! I totally would recommend hiring Alan & Suzette. I cannot express how happy I was with their awesome service & hands down will hire them again for future events! They well exceeded my expectations & made my party absolutely epic! read more

We hired Suzette for our daughter's 1st birthday party and she was AMAZING!! You don't realize what an art balloon twisting is until you see Suzettes work! She was so easy to work with, professional, fun, and super talented! There was so much to do at the party and it was nice. Not having to worry about her since I knew she had her station covered. We are so happy that we hired her and will continue to use her services in the future. If you want the best for your party I assure you that she is definitely it. read more

Alan is not only a great magician, he is a trustworthy business man. He is honest and will always call back and follow up with clients and even potential clients. I've seen Alan in action at many Baby Luau's, Grad Parties, and Company events. He is very professional and his show is fun and so well done! He also does amazing close up and mentalism. I still cannot figure out how he does it. Isn't that the mark of a great magician, though? I love Alan and his team. He and his wife, Sue, make an amazing duo! She does balloons and face painting and he does mind blowing magic. We hired Alan and his team for my son's first birthday and everything was top notch. The show's music, the set up and break down, the audience participation...it all was so professional. I highly recommend Alan and anyone he recommends, in the event he is already booked, is ok in my book too. read more

Magic Alan was entertaining at my party thrown for me 2.5 months ago. I was too busy with guests to appreciate his talents. He was at my parent's anniversary last night and was able to see and interact with his magic. He is truly talented and carries his own unique style of tricks. He did an amazing blind fold trick as well as some numbers the audience chose and turned it into something incredible! If you want to know more hire him and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed. Make sure he does the dollar bill trick too! read more

We hired Alan as our entertainment at our wedding so our guests would be entertained while we took our photos. Our guests were raving about Alan after the wedding and sharing with both my husband and I the awesome things Alan did. I love that he went to every table so that it was more personable rather than standing on a stage and pulling a bunny out of a hat like at a kids birthday party. Alan had something special planned for us but unfortunately our formal program had to start. I was so disappointed but to my surprise, we got a thank you card in the mail with a little magic. I was so ecstatic that I brought it to work to show my coworkers. Alan is nothing short of amazing. If you're thinking of hiring a magician, look no further. Your guests will be entertained and scratching their heads trying to figure out how he did everything. We hired Alan for an hour and a half but I think I should have hired him for the whole night. He's worth every penny! Definitely need to have another party just so I can have him at a party again. Lol! read more

Alan Arita Magic is TERRIFIC! His shows are the BEST! He also does a package deal called "strolling magician"... I've hired Alan to do 4 of my grandsons 1st birthdays. Everybody loved it! It still amazes me how he can bend forks and spoons using his mind! He just AMAZES ME! He keeps the crowd amused and entertained. Alan is the most friendliest person to know and he will try to accommodate any special request you might want. Thank you Alan for making my parties very memorable and fun for everyone! read more

I'm so glad we found Alan and I wish I could give him more stars! He entertained our guests with strolling magic during pupus/dinner at our wedding reception a few weeks ago, and it was a great experience from beginning to end. First, he's great by email with the planning process and very quick to respond. Second, his magic is AMAZING!!! We had a casual reception and surprised our guests with Alan instead of any other entertainment/music. We got so many comments on how great Alan was and our family and friends are still talking about his tricks. He made a point to try to get to everyone at the party, and he even stayed later than he was scheduled to ensure everyone got to see the show. He also saved a very special trick for my fiance and me but I won't spoil the surprise. You'll just have to hire him for your next party and you can have your mind blown too. You won't regret it! Thank you so much Alan! read more
