It pains me to write this review, because I've been coming here for years and left today with the worst carwash. I paid for an Aussie wash, and typically once the service is completed a manager will check the job to make sure it's up to par. I was not near my car when they finished the job, so not sure if a manager checked the finished service this time. The outside of the car looked great, however, the inside was a different story. The interior was not fully vacuumed (they did not lift the booster seats, so crumbs were not vacuumed), the seats were not wiped down (shoe prints behind the driver and passenger seats still visible), and cupholders still dirty (liquid residue still visible). Unfortunately, I noticed this when I got home, so I ended up vacuuming and wiping down the seats and cupholder myself. If I'm paying $60+ for a full service car wash, I except the car to be fully vacuumed and interior wiped down. read more

Since my last review, Alamo has become my regular hand-wash car wash location. I usually get the "Gold" wash package, which includes a full-service hand wash, rainbow wax, sealer & polish wax, clear coat sealant, chassis bath, rust inhibitor, exterior treatment, and an air freshener (choice of several scents). I thought they did a great job on getting my incredibly dirty car clean, inside and out! They have both indoor and covered outdoor waiting areas. Also, a small convenience store with car accessories, drinks, snacks, etc. There's also a small restaurant called Lov Ch Ch (café, breakfast/brunch, desserts) that's in the same shopping center. I was wondering why I didn't see my car n the conveyor or whatever u call it to wash ur car like it used to when I'm getting Aussie wash. I've been waiting for my car through the glass window and all the cars passing by was not even there before so it means they came after me. So I located my car and shows me that it was already at the front for polishing. At first I just ignored it but When I checked my camera it shows how they did the short cut n cleaning my car. they just splashed water n it with a host and backed it up to the area where they do the polishing. I called the manager to let them know that I am aware of their little trick!!! read more

I like it. It's like an old school car wash with a modern twist. Basically there are people that vacuum when you drop your car off. They move it on to the conveyor and your car gets sprayed down by the pre-wash mixture. Actual people, one on each side, wipe the car down...then it travels down where it gets a thorough rinse. Once outside there are people that wipe down the outside and inside of the car. I remember car washes like this being like $20 back in the day, but today I paid $38 for the gold package with a $5 tip. My mom's car is on the bigger side and sometimes other places charge more for that. All in all I am satisfied with the service. It took around 30-40 min to complete. My car was nice and shiny, everything felt clean and had the fresh lemon scent. I went during my lunch time, so i ordered ahead to Wallace chicken around the corner. Once my car was done, swung by the chicken place, picked up and got back to work on time. read more

I Pay for the highest tier and didnt even get what i paidfor, rims not even touched. Cleans my tires last gets the black stuff on the sides of the car. Taking short cuts . If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been to Alamo Car Wash in Walnut about five times only because it's close to my house, but after today I refuse to ever come back. Every single time it has been something, but today with Antonio was the last straw. I pulled up around noon, made it obvious I was waiting, and still got ignored while a guy who showed up after me got serviced first. When I confronted him in Spanish to make sure there was no confusion, he brushed me off with some nonsense about putting us together. That's not how customer service works and that moment already told me this place doesn't value its customers. The real deal breaker came when he opened my car door without a care in the world, banging it against equipment like it was nothing. When I called him out on it, his answer was "this doesn't scratch." That made me furious because it's not about whether the item can scratch, it's about how careless he was with my car. His attitude was immature and dismissive and when I asked for a manager, suddenly the manager was off for the day. When I asked for a supervisor, apparently none existed. Instead of accountability, Antonio literally walked away from me while I was speaking to him. That was the final confirmation that this business is unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful. I don't care if Alamo Car Wash in Walnut is the closest to my house, I will gladly drive the extra fifteen minutes to La Puente Hand Car Wash where the service is respectful, professional, and my car actually comes out looking clean. If you are thinking about trying Alamo, save yourself the stress and just go to La Puente Hand Car Wash instead because they know how to treat both people and cars the right way. read more

This has been my go-to place for hand-wash. With so many new pop-ups, their Express Hand Wash beats the mechanical scrubbers of others especially the ones at the gas station that hardly has any soap in them. However, after being around for so long, the owner has decided to sell the entire wash together with the gas station and all the car service stations on the side. He finally gave in to the greed of the developers that will fill the place with mini-townhouses that is so overpriced. Everyone should petition to the owner to at least keep this car wash not only for the benefit of loyal patrons like me but also for those loyal employees of his who will be displaced into unemployment. read more

He used to be the best car wash here. But, they are far shell of themselves. They are constantly closed for no reason. Today they literally close while I was in line. Ever since they announced that the whole shopping center is sold and will be closing they no longer care. read more

Great service. Not too expensive. I paid $45 for a full wash. Only reason I have a 4 stars is because the amount of time it takes! Be prepared to wait an hour for an inside/outside wash. Also, I didn't get any type of air freshener which I feel should have been added to the package! read more

Don't waste your time and money here Literally had to go home and finish the inside. They don't clean the inside at all. Complete waste of money. All they did was vacuum and washed the outside. Extremely disappointed with today's experience. I'm an EverWash member paying $85/month, and I called ahead to confirm if this location offers full-service car wash. They said yes over the phone. But when I arrived, they flat-out lied and told me they don't provide full-service -- even though I could clearly see customers getting full-service at the front. This is unacceptable. If you don't want to honor your services for EverWash members, just say so upfront. Don't waste people's time or treat loyal customers like they're invisible. There are fewer and fewer hand wash car washes left. I found Alamo when looking near my Mom's to wash her car. They were very thorough and did a good job wiping down everything inside and out. It took a long time as they seemed a bit short staffed. Car was clean for price point. read more

This place was exceptional. My car was washed, waxed and detailed for $70 dollars. The suv is 12 years old and it looked like it came off the showroom floor. Francisco was very kind and professional. He was even able to remove some ink stains from my leather seats. I waited in air conditioned comfort on a very nice leather couch. He even came and got me when it was done. This car wash has always been a mediocre car wash. Definitely nothing to impressive, but today was an all-time low. I decided to treat myself to a premium car wash.. and these were the results. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I also went on a not busy day. So I definitely don't understand the rush and the poor service. I went and got churros across the strip mall and was surprised at how early my car was finished.. found my car parked on the side with workers just hanging out. Date of visit 4/1/2022 I like the concept, but not the cleanest. I was here yesterday for platinum wash $39.99. I was expecting a more detail wipe on the interior of my car but there are a lot of spots that seemed "untouched" hence still dusty. I got an interior shampoo service for $70, and my car was pretty dirty inside with a lot of pet hair. They warned me beforehand that they probably wouldn't be able to get all of it out due to how much there was, but to my surprise they pretty much got everything in my interior. I wish I took a before picture because I am pretty shocked that they were able to do such a good job compared to some detail services I got before for much higher price. Been coming here for quite awhile and have never left disappointed. I e tried their Monthly plans but found those to be on pricey side since going more than twice a month is unnecessary IMO, for my circumstances. I was hoping to get a hand wax ($60-65 + tip) but 2 cars were ahead of me and time was of the essence. They offered a rinse wax for $45 but I'm not really sold on those. While waiting for my car, I stopped inside the Crystal Store and had a great convo about Crystals and their healing properties along with other interesting topics. 30 minutes flew by and it was great to meet the owner and pick up some rose quartz and black obsidian. I had specifically asked, and they assured me, that the tire cover would not be damaged in the machinery, but they STOLE IT right under my nose. I went right back, 330, and there was no one there, locked up, though it was supposed to be open until 5. This business is dishonest, stay away. read more

I usually go to this spot for car washes but it seems like all the workers stopped caring once the owner announced he's selling the whole plaza. I pulled up to the vacuum area with 5 lanes and for some reason my lane was the only that wasn't moving. It was taking a while so I would occasionally stand to check on my car. The was was a bit pricey but my car really needed it. The following day, I went grocery shopping.
