I got to work with Christopher, & he was super helpful & was just an overall nice person, so idk whom the other sales persons are that I read about in previous reviews, but I had a totally different experience. The only problem I had was after my husband & I bought the house, & that I'm still having to deal with the doors & siding over 3 months later. I purchased a used mobile home from Alamo Homes in October, 2024 to put on a piece of land that would be a rental property. I worked with Shane and found him to be a straight talker who followed through on his word - so refreshing! From start to finish, the process was super easy and hassle free. And did I mention they have good prices, too? Shane provided me updates without being asked and also responded quickly to my questions. Any time I had a concern or issue, he resolved it thoroughly and efficiently. On my closing day, Sarah had everything ready when I got to my appointment and we finished quickly. She was so sweet and you could tell she loved her job. After sale and delivery, I had a few questions for which I reached out to Shane. Even months after the sale, he was responsive and helpful. I really cannot say enough nice things about these guys. They are definitely not your typical sleazy mobile home sales people -- and I encountered a number of them in my home search when looking at other dealerships before finding Alamo Homes. Normally takes 4 weeks to receive a certificate of ownership...we've been waiting nearly 3 months for ours. Kevin Hansen from Alamo doesn't know when we'll get it. Huge lack of communication w this company, they don't mind leaving you in the dark and waiting, once you've paid them. read more

There are a multitude of areas that Alamo Homes should address to improve the customer experience. My customer service experience with this company ranks as one of the most displeasing I have encountered. To list the issues would turn this post into a book. I would be hesitant to recommend doing business with this company. To their benefit, Alamo did offer the lowest price I could find on the home I purchased. read more

We inherited a large amount of land. My sister and I are both buying new double wide homes. Nice ones! My custom built home will be here this week!! My sister thought she could save money on the same type house I am getting, buying it from Alamo. Wrong!! We found out that they run two companies out of the same place under two different names. They all work for both I guess. She called one of their company names and got a price on the house she was interested in. I called the other and got a completely different price for the exact same house! So then we went there. Big waste of time. They all smoke. The salesperson and the building reeked. They smoke right outside the door so you get to walk through smoke to see the homes. The model homes are not air conditioned. they aren't clean or nicely decorated. There were spare parts and odds and ends in weird places when you try and view the homes. it was miserable. She was told that 0 down isn't an option without them putting a lien on our land. I got 0 down and new furniture. She was told that it would take months to get a home custom built. Mine didn't. It was built at the same place. There seems to be a complete lack of management/organization training and honesty, and bottom line, THE PRICES ARE NO BETTER. read more
