Additionally, I had a hanging under carriage felt piece which I'm guessing is required for sound proofing or governmental overreach that has fallen off in chunks from speed bumps, steep driveway grades, or some form of auto part rapture, which I asked them to disentangle and remove.. They did so with a silent knowing recognition to the idiocy of the design. But here's the thing. They refused payment. No charge for anything, despite my protestations. So in summary, I went to a car shop asking for and ready to pay for services and the shop said, "No charges, come back to us in the future when you really need work." Damn skippy, I will. The cars in front of me bore the brunt of it but I managed to miss most of it, except one small piece of wood. My brand new Cooper tire started leaking pretty quickly on the highway during 5pm traffic, not good. I ran into the nearest gas station and bought 2 bottles of fix a flat, one worked, the other got all over me. I could still hear the air leaving my tire so I looked up the nearest shop to me, it was Martinez Tire & Auto. They saw me panicked and immediately took my tire to fix in the back while explaining the whole process to me and telling me not to worry. They had to clean out all the fix a flat foam and patch the two holes in my tire, all was done in less than 15 mins and my tire is good as new! I would have paid more if I could have but the total was $25. During my time there, I saw them taking other customers with friendly customer service. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
