Friendly servers who don't hover but bring a drink refill when needed. The parking lot is smaller in the front because it has to be shared with other places, but a much larger one is in the back. Trouble is no back door so you have to walk around. The menu has slimmed down some, but the popular favorites are still there. Only downside that cost them a star is having Pepsi products instead of Coke. I will stop back when I have time when I am down to Monroe.

This was our first trip to Sidon and we'll definitely be back. The ambiance was clean and pleasant…read more- enough style and decoration to be interesting, without being cluttered. Ordering takes place at the counter, so grab a menu there, make your choices and pay. You'll receive a number to take back to your table. Food was brought out in the proper order - appetizers, mains, and dessert, all when appropriate. The food was WONDERFUL(!), so flavorful, freshly prepared, really delicious. We had two wraps, lentil soup, a Lebanese burger, grape leaves, kibbe, and baklava. I would note only that the wraps (pita or lavash) were fairly thin, so grab an app or a side if that's your choice for a main. Lavash wraps are larger than pitas. It's a shame that they don't offer a falafel lavash wrap, but there are lots of other choices on the extensive menu. The clientele included lots of Arabic families, a wonderful testament to the excellent authentic food offered at Sidon. We also stopped into their market and found it to be a bustling place - large, clean, brightly lit, with tons of options and so many freshly-prepared foods. Staff were efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Sidon is a great find!

Debate, Best lambs chops that rival if not better than auburn cafe. Debone chicken is epic. The best grape leaves I've ever had. The only complaint was the Mediterranean wings, not great kind of a ketchupy sauce but we used the fries that come with them to dip in the garlic sauce which was delicious. The wings were cooked perfectly. All in all the owners are very kind and welcoming people. You can tell they are very proud of the food they serve.

I visit here early on Fridays - when they first open. Hardly anyone is in here and it's actually pretty nice. I ordered a 1/2 order of B+G because the 1st time here I had bacon and it tasted weird. Included a small salad, with additional greens under the falafel. And some pickles. The bread was fresh and warm. Two containers of that heavenly white garlic sauce and I levitated 4 inches off the floor. So good!! The owner says the falafel was his wife's special recipe and wow! My complements to the chef! None better! Really nice and friendly. The restaurant is spotless and inviting. Lots of parking in back. TVs or music always playing. No stairs. Public restrooms that I didn't use. Skip disgusting overpriced Leo's Coney across the street, and stop in here-- Leo's hummus is days old and you only get a few teaspoon-full for $8. (I'm not exaggerating!) and No bread! I'll never step foot in Leo's Coney again. This place is right across the street and 1000x better. Telegraph and Vreeland next to Taco Bell. Photo: Doesn't that just look scrumptious? It was gone fast. I'D LIKE TO ADD: I hardly thinks it's fair this TAMARA woman, reviewer below me judges the restaurant's quality of food based on her impression that no one was there. She didn't even ORDER! I've been here many times when the family was in the back cooking and they popped out within a few moments to take my order. She didn't even seat herself to look at the menu. . She's upset they didn't kiss her feet upon the moment of entering. Her review is totally unwarranted ! Try the food THEN judge them. This is a family run business-- GONE THEM A MOMENT TO COME OUT TO GREET YOU. Or... as others do, seat yourself. If you do not receive any service within 20 minutes, leave and post a low review.
