Go in and look and sniff around. The smell and view of all those different herbs and colours is amazing and brings back memories of ancient times.. You can find any kind of 'international' flavours, herbs, different kind of salts and peppers, flowers, food colouring, rose waters, nuts, dades (you have to try the fresh dades from Iran!!! those are really fresh and a bit juicy), tea, rice, couscous, noodles, curry pastes, cookies, honey, sugar crystals, nougat and more. The owners (from Iran) are also very friendly and if you're looking for something they are happy to help, the prices are quite 'normal' to inexpensive.

If I was to guess, I would say there are maybe around 80-100 stalls? The vendors seem to set up around 9am and the products sold run the gamut such as flowers, cheese, wine, clothing, vegetables and fruit. They also have wine and beer to go as well. They used to have tables inside and out to eat, but during Corona-times, no way - only takeaway. I think their prices are very good, lower than other places toward the center of the city, but I've found more "fresh" zalm elsewhere. But it's an awesome place. So glad it's here. It's on a busy street, and today (Saturday) there is a market across the street that sells fresh veges, fruit, meats, cheese, nut mixes, bike accessories, desserts, plants/flowers, and lots more.
