Tried the Aladdin's Pita Sandwich (falafel) and it was delicious. Friendly service. Wish they were open during dinner hours more than twice a week!

Nice place! Got the falafel sandwich and the salad bowl. Packed with different veggies, the falafel was moist, and the portions were good! Give this place a try. Very nice and pleasant staff.

Tabbouleh, Falafel, labneh, grape leaves, baba ganoush, fresh pita and Za'Tar pita chips.

The food is UNBELIEVABLE! So fresh, so healthy, and just amazing. The story of the owner is pretty awesome as well...look it up in the STOWE (summer/fall 2024) magazine. Anyway, where I live in Mass there are not enough Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean restaurants close to me so this was a nice find. The pita bread is warm, soft & fresh! The Za'Tar chips were amazing- I tried the sample platter and it had baba ghanoush, labneh, falafel, grape leaves, hummus, tabbouleh-it was definitely more than enough for one person as it could be shared by two or three people! I hope this place will be in Stowe, VT forever!

Quite literally the best hummus and falafel I've ever had. Midway through lunch, my traveling companion and I looked at each other and said (almost at the same time) we're getting hummus to go to have in our room! I had the middle eastern salad bowl with falafel and all of the textures really worked well together.

The food keeps getting better and better. It's awesome to watch a local restaurant flourish. Thank you for the care and kindness that you put into this restaurant.

Great fresh ingredients and the falafel pita wrap may be one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten.

Best Middle Eastern food I've had since I moved from Brooklyn. The babaganoush was yummy! And the pita was the best I've had.

This place kicks ass! Can't wait to go back to try the other pita and sides. Finally Stowe has something other than burger and fries!

Best falafel pita sandwich (more like a meal in a pita) by far. Definitely worth a visit.

After our delightful first visit, my wife and I knew we had to come back to Istanbul Kebab House…read morefor a proper meal. Last week, we decided to turn our date night into something special with dinner at this Turkish gem followed by a Broadway musical, Newsies, at the Flynn Center. We made a reservation in advance, as this spot is quite popular in the evenings - especially when there's a play happening nearby. The ambiance was inviting and warm, with soft lighting and traditional Turkish decor creating a perfect setting for a romantic evening. The service was exceptional, and our server, Alexandra B., made the experience even more memorable with his attentiveness and friendly demeanor. We started with the Small Meze Platter ($16.99), an excellent choice for sharing. The platter featured haydari, hummus, babaganoush, Turkish salsa, and stuffed grape leaves, all served with soft lavash bread. For those seeking a gluten-free option, fresh-cut veggie sticks are available. Each dip and spread was bursting with flavor, making this a must-try appetizer. For the main course, I chose from the Earthenware Casseroles and ordered the Lamb Guvec ($27.99). The tender, marinated lamb pieces combined with tomato, mushroom, onion, pepper, and eggplant were served sizzling hot, and the aroma alone was irresistible. It was hearty, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the recommended 9oz glass of Vinkara red wine ($16.50). My wife selected the Chicken Adana Kebab ($22.99) from the Traditional Kebabs menu. The mildly spicy, hand-ground chicken seasoned with Turkish maraş pepper and parsley was grilled to perfection and served with Turkish rice pilav, a side of greens, house pickled red cabbage, and marinated onions. She enjoyed every bite and complemented her meal with a 9oz glass of Ancyra white wine ($16.50), which was light and refreshing. To close the evening, we indulged in a classic Turkish dessert, Baklava ($9.99). The layers of fresh phyllo, walnuts, and crushed pistachios, finished with a simple syrup, were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Istanbul Kebab House continues to impress with its excellent food, cozy ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special occasion, this restaurant is a must-visit in Burlington. We'll definitely be back again!

We are out-of-towners who were in the area to ride bikes, so finding the local bike shop was…read morepriority number one. I love when the local bike shop is *truly* a LOCAL bike shop, and not some generic conglomerate that has hired locals. We got so many excellent recommendations on where to ride, what to look out for, and any setup changes we should make based on our individual setups. For those who didn't bring bikes, renting bikes was quick and painless. They took the time to get us dialed in before we were off to ride. The merch was top-notch. My only (very minor) disappointment was that the green hat that I bought to match the jersey I also bought was a children's hat. I missed that at time of purchase and didn't realize it until we were back at our rental for the night. It's okay, I brought it back the next day and they were cool about it and let me swap my kids hat for a different adult-size hat, even though they didn't have any green adult hats. I wish we had a few extra days in the area, I would have loved to join some of the local group rides that seem to meet here to ride regularly. We did eat lunch here one of the days. It was so nice to eat outside. There was a good flow of people in and out, but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. We had a group of 8, and yet everything arrived just as quickly as we ordered it. I had a crunch wrap. It felt like a lot of food, but it hit the spot. If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Ranch Camp is a cool little restaurant and bicycle repair shop combo -- for real! I just wish the…read morefood was as good as the overall vibe and the amazing service we received. Let's start with what we enjoyed during our visit: the drinks were good... the atmosphere was cool (more like a contemporary "cabin" vibe, which was definitely inviting)... and the staff were all stellar!! Where Ranch Camp let us down on this visit was the food. In fact, we desperately wanted to love the experience because everything LOOKED fantastic. However, all the food we ordered was bland. It all started with the pork nachos, which our party of 3 ordered as an appetizer. It was piled high and dripping with ingredients... but the dish completely lacked flavor. The pork was perfectly tender but tasted flavorless (until I added hot sauce and salt). I would also recommend they serve the dish with pico de gallo or salsa to boost the flavor. We had the same feeling with the burrito bowls. Two of us ordered different burritos (opting for bowls instead of tortillas), and we both thought the flavor was just okay. And on top of that, both of our bowls were lukewarm. In fact, the entrées weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese. I wish I would have sent the food back, but we were in a bit of a hurry. Finally, my friend James ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, which he also thought was "just okay." Oh, and we noted that a table near us sent back food... so not sure what was up with that, but we we weren't surprised based on our overall experience. Final Thoughts: Prior to visiting Ranch Camp, I read plenty of reviews praising the restaurant, so I'd like to think that they were just having a bad day.
