They also have posters, lobby cards, ephemera and a wide selection of classic and independent film DVDs. Great customer service, fair prices, and they are a fountain of knowledge on their subject areas. If I want to find something special for someone they always know just what to suggest. I had checked the website and it appears that they had it. I approached the counter and spoke to a gentleman (about 5'6 or 5'"7. Super friendly man, he retrieved the book, charged me and I was on my way. Everything was excellent. Second experience was yesterday. I perused the aisles and grabbed 4 used books. I approached the counter to pay. A tall man sitting on the register is on his phone at full blast. I'm literally aside from him. I'm standing where him and another employee were helping another customer before. I'm thinking he hasn't seen me. But I'm the only one there. I still give him the benefit of the doubt. So I clear my throat and I mention "ok I'm ready". He finally acknowledges me and says "the come to the register" and he grabs my books and starts charging. He seemed upset and im not sure why. I walk around to the other side. I'm not sure if he was annoyed that I wasn't standing on the right side. Who knows. But all I know is that he saw me and he wasn't friendly. Two different transactions, two different experiences. I guess you'll get different treatment depending on who's helping you out.

We're compared prices on a bunch of items from each of the K-pop shops at The Source and K Place is almost always is a few dollars cheaper than its competitors. Secondly, the album selection is better and you get a wide array of new releases as well as older albums from previous generations. Many of the new releases also come with preorder benefits (POBs) that is only offered at K Place. These attributes also applies to their online store as well which we also buy from when we are unable to go to the physical storefront. The store can get busy especially during weekends but the lines always go pretty fast. The customer service is nice too. A guy let me repick my POB if it ended up being the same member as another POB I picked. If you sign up for their free membership you get $5 off every $100 spent in-store and online as well so definitely sign up for that if you want additional savings. Another thing to look out for is discounts throughout the store. Some popular items that go on discount are usually older magazines and various merch that they're trying to get rid of. Once in awhile, they'll have a stack of freebies by the front entrance too (usually opened albums without photocards, posters, etc.). Once in awhile, they'll host a girl group/boy group photocard trading event too so keep up with their social media if you want to buy/sell/trade your photocard collection at one of these events. The Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner is located on the west side of the Yorba…read moreLinda Public Library, right under the big stair case. There are two ways to get to this small book shop, one is to walk past the main entrance of the library and go down the stair case, or you can park on the west side of the library and enter under the large stair case. The store is tiny, but you can find some steals and bargains here. Make sure you come with plenty of time, patience and cash as they have quiet a bit to look through. About half of the items that are sold are old library items and the other half have been donated by people no longer wanting them. Books usually sell for $1, some are marked a little higher depending on how valuable they really are. The purpose of the Book Corner is to raise funds for more library programming. From what I can recall, the Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library do give quiet a bit of money back to the library. The book corner has a couple of pretty large book sales every couple of months. These book sales get packed, but can secure you some awesome scores. They sell everything from books on CD, video games, records and books for all ages and subjects! This wasn't just random packaging. It felt like a deliberate political jab--a form of ideological mockery or provocation. I didn't order propaganda. I ordered literature, and I expected it to arrive with at least a basic level of neutrality and respect for the buyer. Using a highly charged, partisan publication as packing material--especially one with such inflammatory language--is offensive and unacceptable. Whether intentional or not, this kind of packaging sends a clear message of disrespect toward customers who may not share the sender's political views. I strongly urge the seller to reconsider their packaging practices and avoid pushing any political materials--explicitly or implicitly--onto their buyers.
