As an avid reader, I've been to many library book sales and used book stores, and would rank this one high in terms of selection and price. There were plenty of hardcovers, paperbacks, children's books, classics, and old books ranging from 50 cents to a dollar. The newer books are inside and can be 2 or 5 dollars but they're all marked. The books placed outside are all cheaper. I picked up 3 books (whoops) because I just couldn't pass them up even though it'll make my carry-on a little heavier than I'd like. I personally love old books because they have so much character, and this place had a whole cart of weathered books. I even came across an old book of poetry that was dated from the late 1800s, but the cover was just hanging by a thread and I didn't think it would survive a beating on a cross-country flight. My grand total was 1.75, and I gave 2 dollars and told the volunteer to keep the change. It was hard for me to not buy more books I wanted but luggage space is limited. I just love this place and as a bibliophile, I'm always happy to books a new home. You can't really beat the price either.

The cashier made an unnecessary comment about the email address I provided, referring to it as "trash," or making a similarly negative remark.
