Not far off the interstate. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Dr Harrison Irons & his staff are very friendly.

So far I've been very happy with the pain clinic. Dr Irons is fantastic and I love his therapy dogs. They get you in and out quickly.

LOL Dr. Varley and all his staff are compassionate and very easy to talk too. Either Online, Portal Use or Calling in making appointments, paying bills, Etc., is very easy. Southern Pain Management offers all the traditional pain/nerve blocks, Radio Frequency Ablasions, Etc; Several new innovative procedures including Ketamine infusion treatments at affordable cost to patients. The science of Ketamine Infusion makes too much sense for insurance companies to my help pay for such a thing. They would much rather pay for pain medicine. To my knowledge insurance pays ZERO MONEY for Ketamine Infusion Treatments. Hunter Chatham, CRNA manages all IV Theropy, he too is excellent, professional and compassionate. He was the only doctor in the Birmingham area who was willing to refill my implanted pain pump. Before finding him, I had to drive to Slidell, LA every month to have it filled. He and his staff work together as a team. It is comforting to see teamwork in one's medical care. They are also very good at what they do, and each one plays a part in your care. I have suffered from hip and thigh pain since I had a defective hip replaced with a non-defective one. I thought that the pain was caused by all the surgery. Thank goodness Dr. Varley had other impressions. He discovered that the pain was emanating from my spine and that Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) was the solution. I had been having it performed on the other side of my spine for several years, with good results. Walking without pain is truly amazing, after suffering with it for so many years. I highly recommend Southern Pain Specialists for anyone with back/spine problems.

The last text encounter we had, he called me a very mean hurtful name. This is one of those doctors who should not be in business. Besides that, his staff are always in a bad mood. They raise their tone of voice and yell at you. I have audio proof of this. Oh, and count on waiting at least 75-90 minutes because they are so unorganized there. Everyone there is overwhelmed, exhausted, and rude. Anyway, don't go to this doctor if you are a female under the age of 55 because he will most definitely flirt with you and then be mean to you and hurt your feelings. This business will be shut down, so don't even bother looking into it. There are plenty of other pain clinics in this area. No need to see one who just wants to bang you and call you mean names out of the blue. I think he has a mental disorder due to the name he called me. ***This doctor knows everything about me and he took advantage of that and that's what the big deal is***

I had a wonderful doctor there for a few months (Dr. Jerew) that had the heart of a physician, but he moved out of state. Although not a specialist, he helped quarterback my health care. I was turned away by the Covid nurse because I had other issues and she said it wasn't long covid. When asked about my heart rate getting too slow, she said, "drink some caffeine." And yet the specialists are saying my issues originated with Covid. After Jerew, I was sent to Kay Willoughby In October and I told her my struggles with PCPs and that I just needed bloodwork twice a year, treatment for infections (sinus, etc.), and refills for very simple medications that haven't changed in over a year. I offered every opening to say "no, go see another doctor."My specialists send updates and my care is not intensive nor does it require even Pallative care. Just simple refills for very simple medications. I was told last week that Dr. Willoughby requested that I move to an internist. No problem. I started looking and couldn't get an appointment before about a month. then I received a message saying she would not refill medication. These are very simple medications, but I have to be on them. So I'm left with no beta blocker Which is the smallest dose possible, but vital to my health. I do not recommend this clinic any longer. And that hurts my heart because my entire family has been patients for over 40 years.
