The pastas and raw fish apps were my own personal favorites, but that is truly a matter of personal taste (I'm not a superfan of super "fishy" fish dishes. Been in Italy about 5 days and this was my fave food so far! So why less than 5 stars? 1)All the "fishy" fish. Wish there had been a bit more variety. I don't need to be eating sardine in 3 different courses, right? I mean, maybe it was for continuity or something, who knows. Also, already having sardine, did we need saor? 2)In the middle of dinner there was an hour long break because vandals tripped the town's system of air raid sirens and all the power went out to the town (and we had to listen to the sirens too). And the whole hour it took to get the power back on we basically just had to sit in darkness. They did comp us a free glass of wine for this trouble which was nice, but it was kind of crazy! An experience to be sure. :) Overall, I deffo recommend this place if you're in the area- just make a rezzie so you get the view!

I live in the US and saw a travel video on YouTube of Lake Garda and Torbole almost 8 years ago…read morethat included a few seconds of the most delicious looking pizza I'd ever seen... and I noted the name of the restaurant was "Geier". So fast-forward to 2024 and I finally got to visit Lake Garda in person. I never forgot the pizza I saw in the YouTube video and made a point of tracking down and eating at Pizzeria Geier in Torbole. It was everything I hoped for! It was the best pizza I ate during the whole trip, arriving fresh within minutes of ordering, and the view of Lake Garda a few meters away was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and kind. I went back a second night and had the caprese. Totally worth the stop and dream-like to eat at a restaurant I saw in video long ago :)

We had an unpleasant experience which says a lot about the restaurant's behaviour towards their…read moreclients. When our food arrived, we accidentally broke one of the wine glasses and glass shattered into our pizza and salad. The food was taken away and the glass removed from the table. When the waiter returned, he told us if we wanted a new order of pizza and salad, he would have to charge us twice ( new order and the food covered in glass). I guess they were more interested in profits than in showing some goodwill. We obviously reordered but left a little surprised.
