Everything was fresh, and the flavors and combinations were creative. The pastas and raw fish apps were my own personal favorites, but that is truly a matter of personal taste (I'm not a superfan of super "fishy" fish dishes. Been in Italy about 5 days and this was my fave food so far! So why less than 5 stars? 1)All the "fishy" fish. Wish there had been a bit more variety. I don't need to be eating sardine in 3 different courses, right? I mean, maybe it was for continuity or something, who knows. Also, already having sardine, did we need saor? 2)In the middle of dinner there was an hour long break because vandals tripped the town's system of air raid sirens and all the power went out to the town (and we had to listen to the sirens too). And the whole hour it took to get the power back on we basically just had to sit in darkness. They did comp us a free glass of wine for this trouble which was nice, but it was kind of crazy! An experience to be sure. :) Overall, I deffo recommend this place if you're in the area- just make a rezzie so you get the view!

So fast-forward to 2024 and I finally got to visit Lake Garda in person. I never forgot the pizza I saw in the YouTube video and made a point of tracking down and eating at Pizzeria Geier in Torbole. It was everything I hoped for! It was the best pizza I ate during the whole trip, arriving fresh within minutes of ordering, and the view of Lake Garda a few meters away was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and kind. I went back a second night and had the caprese. Totally worth the stop and dream-like to eat at a restaurant I saw in video long ago :)

Since there are not that much restaurants in Torbole (compared to Riva or Malcesine) this is a good choice for all who dont want to take the car and go out for dinner by foot. It was served in a crispy Parmesan bowl. The pasta was also good. The ragout was good but was slightly undercooked in my opinion. It was good but could have been a little better. We sat outside on a beautiful day. Hazem was a great server and we enjoyed our meal.

When our food arrived, we accidentally broke one of the wine glasses and glass shattered into our pizza and salad. The food was taken away and the glass removed from the table. When the waiter returned, he told us if we wanted a new order of pizza and salad, he would have to charge us twice ( new order and the food covered in glass). I guess they were more interested in profits than in showing some goodwill. We obviously reordered but left a little surprised.
