Our group of about 30 came to this restaurant which was recommended by our local host. It was a week before Easter and the place had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant staff was very accommodating, and the food and drink were wonderful. We had a great time.

Super delicious! Charming waitstaff! We had pizzas, pesto pasta, lamb, grilled seasonal vegetables, and tiramisu! Everything was perfect for a family of 4 (with 2 young children)! Located on a small picturesque street in old town. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and food. Crowded and may have to wait if no reservation. Sit outside and people watch!

Nice atmosphere, wide selection of primi's and secondi's. Remember to take Aperol Spritz as an apetizer always when travelling in the area.

The waiter was busy but very nice and slowed down to help us with a very good local wine.

One of my best meals in Italy (also went to Venice and Verona)! Delicious food and not crazy…read moreexpensive. We paid around 90 euros for 2 apps, 2 pastas, one main and one "grand" dessert. Food was all really good. Highly recommend the seafood pasta - but be warned, there are tiny bones in the fish. Edible, but bothersome. We also had the fowl dish. It was a quarter leg and skin was a bit on the fatty side, but the sauce was delicious. The waitress gave us free glass of dessert wine as we waited to pay. We got a grappa and a limoncello. Great way to end a great meal!

Black truffle pasta, seafood spaghetti (kamut grain pasta) - both were excellent and could easily be shared. Grilled, local fish from Garda was prepared simply and needed nothing more than a drizzle of olive oil. The wine list was well priced and featured a handful of local wines with drinking. If you're looking to avoid the tourist driven restaurant, and experience a place that's a bit more authentic, I'd give Il Gallo a try for its simple, well priced local food and wine.
