Food was actually ok. Pizzas were average as was the salad. Red wine by the glass was also ok. Nothing special. But the tough part was the price. First, coverage was $2.50 Euro per person. We ordered 2 pizzas at $15 and $16 Euros and a Greek salad at $16 Euro. Glass of red wine was $8 Euros and this was the only by the glass that was offered. They also charged $5 Euros per bottle of water and we had 2. The kicker was when I got the bill and hey added on an additional 15% service charge. Our total was $89 Euros! The worst Rip Off restaurant in Caprì! Don't go there! They recommended seafood pasta and seafood pizza and the bill came out to 668€. We felt cheated. They were even singing happy birthday song to us when bringing out the dishes even though it was nobody's birthday. We felt like they were celebrating to rip us off. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst than a TOURIST TRAP! We were next in line but two parties of Italians, who came into the restaurant long after us, were seated before us. After we were seated, we were ignored. This went far beyond the relaxed nature of Italy. When the waiter got around to us, we asked a question about the menu and was replied with more rudeness. After searching high and low literally walking a mile we stumbled into this cozy restaurant that overlooks the sea. Everything was lit up below so it was a very romantic setting as we dined. We were made to feel at home and I was even able to sample some of the family's Easter Lamb which was absolutely perfect. The wife had the grilled Sea Bass and that was amazing as well. The wine was local and complemented the food. I had the most amazing Tiramisu. What an amazing place! I hope to make another visit one day. The staff was accomadating and really made you feel like you were at home. They gave some excellent service and I really enjoyed the evening there. read more

If I could give less I would, my wife and I should of left when the gentleman seating people wouldn't give my wife and I the table we wanted because he said he had a reservation even though the person who sat there after we asked just had a drink and then left. Instead he put us in a corner table not close to the AC and no open window so it was very hot. The service was very slow and the server when we asked what some of the better options were like a used car salesman he said of madam everything is good of course, but I guess that was lie. I ordered ravioli which was 16 euro the most expensive pasta I have ordered since we got here and I got 6 small round pieces that weren't even hot. My wife ordered a Niçoise salad and it looked like something you would give to a cat and that was also way over priced. We finished eating and waited for our server to check on us so we could get the bill but he never came to I had to go look for someone. Worst part of the whole experience was to find out they not only charge a seating fee which is typical in Italy but they ALSO add in 15% gratuity on top of that automatically, I have never never never seen anything like that and that was just the icing on top of the cake after the whole lunch. I would never eat here again and I recommend anyone who reads this to do the same and anyone who is giving this place 4 and 5 stars is either paid by the restaurant or is a family member of someone who works there. read more

Everything was fine with this restaurant until about 4 hours after my meal when I started throwing up from food poisoning (I ordered the chicken) and it continued all night. So personally, I would never eat here again but if you do just don't order the chicken. read more

This was the worst dining experience I've ever had in my life. We decided to eat at this restaurant on our only night in Capri since it was recommended to us by our hotel. Things started to go wrong when my family received their food and, halfway through their meal, my gnocchi was still not here yet. We asked the waiter where our food was, and although at first they said that it was on its way, they later admitted that they had forgotten my order in the first place. When my gnocchi did come, I started eating it and discovered chunks of plastic inside of it. We believe this happened because the waiter had forgotten my order, and therefore the restaurant rushed making my food and didn't do quality control. They allowed me to pick another dish, so I picked the ravioli, which was cheaper than the gnocchi. However, when the bill came, they still charged me for the gnocchi instead of the ravioli. At the end, they gave us $15 off from our original bill, but they completely disregarded the 10% voucher that the hotel had given us for the restaurant. On top of that, our first waiter was rude and unprofessional to us. When my brother ordered a steak, the waiter didn't even ask how he wanted the steak to be cooked. It wasn't until my mom had reminded him about that detail that the waiter took note of it, but they were a bit aggressive in response to her. They also ignored my dad's request for a glass of wine. In general, the experience was incredibly frustrating and ruined the mood for our first and only night in Capri. My family didn't feel welcome at the restaurant, and we would give this restaurant 0 stars if that was an option. I never write reviews, but this experience was so jarring that I felt the need to. We stopped by per recommendation of our tour guide, who I now think may have been in cahoots with the restaurant (at times, tour guides will get a percentage of the money you spend at shops and restaurants). The food was okay (dessert was gross) but VERY expensive and full of surprise charges. Buyer beware! We asked for tap water and got a large bottle of water they opened right away -I'm pretty sure the seal had already been cracked by their actions and and was more sure it was already opened by the taste -it was bad tap water. Now I asked for tap water, so this wasn't a big deal -until I saw the bill where we were charged €5 for water. Oh, and there was a €5 cover charge just to sit down. Oh, and just to add a little bit of extra swindle, there was also a €10 service charge. We basically spent $90 for simple pizza, gross dessert (and I'm not terribly picky), tap water, and a glass of wine. Ah, I forgot the €6 can of Sprite..... There are a LOT of restaurants on Capri at the base (by the marina) with FREE wifi, no service charges, no cover charges, and likely, better food. They probably also don't try and pass off tap water as bottled water with a €5 charge. We should've wised up and left when we saw multiple other patrons complaining about their bills. Very shady, very expensive, and very average food -except for the dessert, it was well below average, tasteless and dry. read more

I went as a part of a tour group and we were rushed, served inedible food (an Italian lunch being a boiled chicken breast and some carrots? Mediocre food, and a rip off. I should have read the reviews before eating here. They charge for water, a fee per head, AND a service charge. One meatball and two cokes ended up costing me almost €50. The servers were unfriendly, and the cashier was a real peach too. She wouldn't even let us split our bill. The dish price was about 20€ or plus each and in my opinion, the food was very good with a very nice view. Although, the problem was that the waiter recommended a pasta he said is not in the menu, and we ordered it, thinking it will cost the around the same price as others, but in the end, it was 120€. Yes, indeed it was a really good pasta with a lot of seafood, that is really something expensive, but I cant allow this much of a price.It might be a common sense that some waiter will try to trick you in that kind is way in touristic areas.. and we weren't well aware.
