The restaurant is near the Glass Museum. Nice outdoor seating with view of the canal and the bridge. Love my eggplant parmesan. The others liked the black ink pasta and fried mixed seafood.

Located on the island of Murano a bit away from the glass shops and tourist areas we happened to stop in for lunch and I loved everything about this place. Tip: It's well worth spending the day in Murano and check out all the glass shops and artisans workshops. It's a seafood and pasta place and the menus look tacky and we almost did not stop here. Service is courteous and the food is simply amazing. I ordered the Spaghetti Vongole with Squid and it was delicate, flavourful and the squid was cooked to perfection. The tiramisu for dessert was also very good and creamy and packed with flavour. We had the house Rosetta for drink and it was reasonable and a great drop for a warm day. Coffee and Limoncello here is also excellent. The limoncello I had was one of the best ever for me. I would gladly come back here and it is quite reasonable. The waiters do speak some English so you should not have a problem. Pick something from the daily specials and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect fancy food but the taste is exceptional.

Came to Murano to spend the day and got hungry. My mom and I saw this place had good reviews and decided to try it out. I randomly ordered the spaghetti carbonara and fried prawns and oh man! Both dishes were amazing. Best meal I've had while in Venice so far. Definitely worth a stop.

They have a spacious amount of indoor and outdoor (canal facing) seating. The bathroom situation was very European. You can order at the bar table. They have bites of ciccatori for like 2 euros and 50 cents. It made for an interesting experience to see the different small tapa options. All of the dishes were the perfect bite size with such fresh toppings. At the end of the meal, you pay up front.

We decided to check them out because I wanted to try cicchetti while in Venice. Cicchetti originated from Venice and it's basically small plates (think tapas). Osteria ai Cacciatori offers outdoor seating along the canal or indoor seating. There are tables or you can just stand and enjoy your order by the bar. We opted to sit inside on a table. They also seem to have some games in the back and a private restroom for customers only. I ended up ordering 3 pieces of cicchetti to snack on with a glass of red wine at the display case. After we were handed the glass of wine and plate, we found an empty table to sit at. The red wine came from tap and it was a lot better than I expected! From what I read online, the bread is usually toasted but their bread was soft and room temperature. It was still good and the fish topping was quite good. Once you're done, you go up to the register to pay. Great experience trying cicchetti in Venice with excellent customer service!

Venice is great,…read morebut getting out of the crowd was such a relief at the end of the day, and part of the wonder of Murano is Versus Meridianem! This quaint, understated INCREDIBLE restaurant is located on the water, at the end of a quiet street in a quiet part of town on this quiet tranquil island. This whole island feels local, not touristy. And that is probably because it is local. This is where a lot of the locals live. And that feeling extends into this restaurant. The entire outdoor courtyard when we arrived was filled with a large family, who must've been from the island, as there was about 40 of them. It looked like the matrons birthday. Celebrating. Eating, laughing and dancing. Drinking wine of course. I wanted to join them! We had reservations and were seated inside at the window, so we could watch the sunset. It was perfect, from the appetizers, to the entrees and wine. I ate more than my share and drank so much incredible wine I was glad we were walking only a short distance back to the hotel. When we left over an hour later, the family in the courtyard was still there. I regret not bringing over a bottle of wine and joining them! I remember loving every morsel I ate and the wine wasn't extravagant, but it was excellent! Definitely worth the boat ride if you're staying in Venice. If you're on Murano, I'm jealous, I wish I was there! Definitely get a table.

It has big and pretty amazing Murano glass chandeliers which are the perfect center piece of the dining room. The huge floor to ceiling windows make it nice and bright. I had the vegetable soup which was delicious and did my unsettled stomach a world of good. Hubby had the prongs and zucchini pesto pasta (which he shared with me) Oh lord, it was so good! And we shared a prosciutto ham pizza. It was one of rhw best I have had on this trip. Because I was a little queasy for some reason, I didn't have any wine but they have a great variety. They weren't too busy, which I didn't get because the view alone is worth it, and their prices are very comparable to everywhere else we have been. Service is typical Italian, they take your order, ring it and leave you alone until you are ready. Great place!

The cichetti selection looked very good (variety thinned out throughout the night), but our party of 3 was starving and we opted to sit inside for a late ~8:30pm dinner. We got one order of grilled lamb and the Lombatello steak for 2. The lamb was also good, no gamey taste. The Lombatello steak was simply fantastic, choose this cut specifically!! A heaping pile of medium-rare meat (cannot buy single portions) that was very tender and flavorful. It's cushioned with steak fries and grilled veggies on the side. Paired with two glasses of house wine, this meal was fantastic. Ended up with a to go box of steak and fries. Servers are very busy, bustling around clearing tables, taking orders, etc, but they are vigilant if you need anything. We saw one table of ~10 order a steak platter, and it was a sight to behold - a massive wooden cutting board packed with steak, transported by two waiters.
