I've even taken some time to reflect on this experience before writing this review and it's still…read moreone of the worst experiences I've had in 15 years of home ownership. I got a quote, there was a little confusion when the worker came out about the work that was supposed to get done, fixing my door, frame, trim and threshold - but we worked it out. The worker completed the frame and as we agreed. That's the extent of the work that was satisfactory. The work he did to fit the door, frame and new threshold were truly awful. Slapped a piece of wood onto the bottom of the door to make it fit the new frame and a lazy sloppy paint job, and then the door would not close correctly. The worker returned another day to fix the door, it closed correctly for maybe a week, then would not close correctly. I asked them to come fix the sloppy paint job and door, the worker returned at night and somehow did an impossibly worse paint job and the door still does not close correctly. They came out a 3rd time, door does not close correctly. I asked them to come fix the job AGAIN, and they insisted I have to pay them now to fix it - a third time - THE DOOR THEY JUST INSTALLED THAT WON'T EVEN CLOSE. That's tops on the list of what I want a door to do ya know? ON top of all this they used wood for the threshold on an exterior door - not metal, and painted it white, so it immediately got destroyed. The trim around the door is already coming apart off the wall, the shoddy threshold is warped and has separated from the ground. It was just not a good job , and the worker was so indignant about how the job was underquoted and how hard it was etc etc. I think it was his own incompetence and they just didn't posses the skills to do the job correctly. If they didn't feel comfortable using the existing door and building the new frame, they should have passed or used a pre hung door. I will never hire them for any work again. And to top things off the worker demanded payment from my wife for the "completed" job while I was away at work - because it took so long to finish I had to leave - she paid them not knowing any better...Everyone lost here , they felt like they didn't get paid enough, I'm not happy with the work and will have to spend more money to get it fixed...ln the end these guys were only a Mighty Headache.

They were putting the TV mount on an outside wall and made sure we understood that it could be difficult to find studs through the stucco. They even asked if we had the exterior paint incase we had to fill a pilot hole later and paint over it. It was a challenge to find the studs but they spent the time to make sure everything was done right and when finished everything looked great.

I wasn't sure who it was because it was so late and the caller ID said "Pro TV Mounting Same Day..." No answer. Then the same number called during a Sunday afternoon. I asked again to please just schedule the call. When I called at the scheduled time, he sounded almost half asleep on the phone (sorry I woke you up!) and I tried explaining clearly what was wrong with the issue and he said repeatedly, "why don't you just call the people who originally installed it". I mentioned I was unhappy with their work and wanted someone else. He clearly was unfamiliar with what was going on and didn't know basic terminology for installation of doors. Never asked for a guarantee, but I just wanted someone who had a more experienced and expert installation history. He then got upset when I indicated I wouldn't be using his services because he sounded like he didn't know what was going on for the project and I preferred not to pay $80 since all other handymen come to do an assessment for free so they can accurately set expectations for themselves and the customer and there isn't disappointment on either side. He literally started raising his voice on the phone because I was trying to ask his professional opinion and gather more info on what he thought was going on. Maybe he was having an off day because he seemed to get frustrated with what I thought were common questions. It seemed like he just wanted to get me off the phone and do the $80 in-person assessment. So the "phone consultation" part doesn't seem like a real thing. Again, I told him "no problem that's your policy and I appreciate your time" but I will go in a different direction Unprofessional and also seemed to have limited skills for certain simple jobs and really is focused on TV mounting or other things (I mean the phone number ID says Pro TV install"). Again, that's totally ok, but don't get upset when a customer would prefer a different option. And be careful! He then tried repeatedly harass and called me several times after now from a hidden number! He had to be reported to Yelp! It seems like this guy generally has good reviews, but this seemed very unusual and concerning. Just take a look at all the other 1-star reviews. They all talk about the SAME exact issues: calling at inappropriate times, rude/unprofessional, harassing calls, incorrect skills listed, (even being asleep, ha!), etc. There is a clear negative pattern here, but other people seemed to find benefit so up to you based your exact situation.
