She also makes sure that she teaches you the right way to think about nutrition rather than just counting or limiting calories. All the rest of my sessions have been with Lyndsay. She is a ROCKSTAR!! I am very happy with the guidance and support I have been getting from her since last year. She is very warm, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, always gives great suggestions and tweaks on what eating habits to change or improve on. Specifically, since I'm Indian and do a lot of Indian food, Lyndsay was able to equip me with tips and tricks on what serving sizes to have, what food swaps to make, snacking habits etc to make sure that I could see huge improvements. I have mixed feelings about the time I spent with Ciara. Did I lose weight, yes, but do I think the…read morewhole experience was worth the price? Absolutely not. I bought the 3 month VIP plan and met with Ciara ~12 times over the 3 months. Overall, I really liked the materials and meal plan that she gave me, but these are standard cookie cutter items that I could have actually gotten for free from a trainer at my gym. I was really interested in how Ciara seemed to incorporate hormones, the member site, and other materials into her style of nutrition planning. I didn't get any of those things until well after my 3 months. Initially, she had me fill out a bunch of paperwork and journals that I sent back, that I thought would be the bulk of what we talked about and what set her style apart from other nutritionists, but we only briefly talked about these once. I also asked on at least 3-4 occasions to be added to or get links to the "member area" or to get her "member content" but never got access. On our final call she again told me she would have her assistant add it, and I never saw anything. Finally, and probably the most frustrating is that it was over a month after my last session with Ciara until the results from my DUTCH test were available, which is the basis for all of her talks and podcasts (Her main selling points are all around healing your hormones). So, I lost weight, but it had nothing to do with the hormone healing or anything that she promotes as her "hormone healing method," because we literally didn't have the results until well after my sessions with her. Bummer. I also had issues getting the results from her once I left a review. She got really angry and fought with me over email. I had to very firmly request that she stop emailing me. Eventually, the company sent me results, and I took them to my GP, but they had no idea how to interpret them, so that was a waste of time too. Most of our sessions were just her talking about personal experiences and reviewing my meal plan, but since I was following the meal plan day by day, there wasn't much to talk about. I did want to learn about Macros, but she didn't want me to track them until my very last week and then wanted me to buy another session to learn about them, which I was not willing to do ($$$). The more I think about it the more frustrated I get, because I really feel like I didn't get any of the things she touted as setting her apart from other nutritionists, and you REALLY pay a premium to meet with her. Oh well, live and learn.
