This is the one that is located next to the Brownwood Hotel and also... just for reference... Wolfgang Puck restaurant. There is also a Starbucks in the very near perimeter. The ladies that work at Lake Medical Imaging (Brownwood location) where extremely attentive to my mother as they got her ready for her CT scan. For the first time ever ... I didn't mind "hanging out" in the office there while I waited for my mother to finish her CT Scan.

I have been there 4 hours in testing to determine what is wrong and I am desperate. In walks a guy who looks like he just left the Leesburg bike fest and hasn't slept in a long while. We think he a maintenance guy. He looks me in the eye and boldly states, " I am a doctor, I know what is wrong with you and I can fix you. You must decide now since I will have to call my team back. I tell him please fix me. His first call is to his nurse who is home cooking dinner " Shut the stove off we got a guy here who needs our help. Next to his kids who will have to feed themselves, etc. I am in the OR at 7:30, done by 8:30 bleeding stopped, 3 aneurysm in my Quad plugged, no pain, this guy is my hero for life. I was called in within 15 minutes and she, Christine took about 10 X-rays for both of my knees. Very efficient, pleasant and professional. She remarked she had 16 years experience doing imaging. A side note: I had called a couple of other locations the afternoon before and was told at one, they would not take my Medicare if I was not with a local physician. My physician is affiliated with AHC. Strange... Another location said that because I was not with one of their network physicians, they would not bill my insurance and I would be charged $120 each. I can easily recommend the AdventHealth Imaging facility in Tavares based on my personal experience.

There were two changing rooms. You lock your belongings in a cabinet and get a key to wear on your wrist to keep your belongings safe during the imaging. It was quick and the tech was kind and gentle. The waiting room had a coffee machine, tv, and cold water bottles in a fridge. I almost felt like I was being pampered during this normally uncomfortable experience. Thank you to everyone here for being so fantastic.

Both me and my fiancé said to one another, "This girl knows her stuff" . Nurse Jamie was prompt, gentle but direct regarding IV insertion and blood dress. She kept him well informed and quick with pain meds. My fiance is going thru his 2nd bout with cancer, so he's had many many nurses. Jamie stands out BY FAR as the best nurse he's had. We've never had a bad nurse at Advent Waterman and it's the only hospital we will go to. Thank you Jamie and thank you Waterman for being so quick and competent when we need you the most.
