One was a simple biopsy. The later was an extended stay in the Neuro ICU. Don't worry, everyone's fine now. The nursing staff was over the top welcoming, helpful, caring and friendly. Especially the nurse who spotted my brother and I in my Dad's room after he went back for his procedure and walked us over to the area so we could be with him before he went back for it. And just everyone was super nice. I wouldn't want to spent multiple days here again but if there's a nicer hospital in South Florida, I can't find it. I did exactly that. I repeatedly told staff my baby was coming, but I was told there was no room available. Then my water broke directly in front of the Labor & Delivery desk. I dropped to my hands and knees, screaming and crying in pain while my husband repeatedly begged staff to help me. I was not immediately examined, given a wheelchair, or taken for care. An off-duty nurse who heard my screams from outside the hospital came in, recognized the emergency, got a wheelchair herself, and rushed me toward triage. Because I had not yet been admitted, my husband could not come with me. When the elevator opened, I was in such advanced labor that I physically could not sit because my baby had descended into the birth canal. I crawled out of the elevator on my hands and knees. In triage, I removed my own soaked clothes and shoes, climbed onto the bed myself while shaking uncontrollably, and repeatedly screamed that my baby was coming. Despite staff being around me, I still was not immediately examined. One nurse asked my name, told me I was "doing okay," and walked away. It was only when another nurse realized my baby's head was already crowning that a physician was called to catch her. My daughter was born approximately eight minutes after my water broke. Thankfully, my daughter and I were physically okay, but that does not make this acceptable. I genuinely believed I was going to deliver my baby without medical assistance inside a hospital. The incident became known within my OB's practice. At my postpartum appointment, staff were already aware of what happened and referred to my delivery as a "horror story." I am sharing this because no woman in active labor should have to beg for medical attention while her baby is literally being born.

The reception staff and the volunteer were so welcoming and efficient. My mammogram specialist was very caring and kind. Within a couple of hours of my testing, I received good news that all looks good. I will happily return next October.

The facility is located off Spanish River Boulevard And University just north of the FAU campus. There was plenty of parking right in front and the facility. My appointment was March 4 at 10 AM. The facility looks very nice when you walk inside. The waiting room is welcoming and very clean and it wasn't very crowded. I still had to wait about 15 minutes before they called my name. They never sent me any information for pre-registration and there was no place on their website to add any of my information. Checking in took a while because the poor woman behind the desk was multitasking and helping everyone else. Once they had my insurance and payment information, it was quick before I was seen. The technician was excellent and so friendly, My first impression was...this technology is old. It does the job, but it's old. Now, today is April 3 and I still do not have the results from that CT scan. I was able to get it from my doctors office so I know everything is fine. BUT you're dealing with people's health. I left two messages to get the results of the scans with NO Response. Finally I was able to reach someone who said I could come and pick up the paperwork. No one said that I needed to pick up the radiologists results during my appointment. So let me say this AGAIN ... you're dealing with people's health. They need to know the results as soon as they are available.

This location is gorgeous in set up and is very clean. I had to get two ultra sounds done due to pain. I was able to get a cd right away. And my doctors got my results within 24-48 hours. Turned out nothing to be serious and it was just a cyst and fibroid. Glad I got it checked and tested by getting these tests done. The technician was excellent. She was gentle and good in communication. She told me exactly what she was doing etc. Side Note- They offer drinks if you need them after your tests. They have a variety of sodas, teas, hot chocolate and coffee. ~

The staff is great, but the real accolades go to the mammography technologist. She is warm, compassionate, and genuinely makes an uncomfortable and anxiety-inducing test feel a little easier. I was disappointed to be told this year that they no longer provide the results at the end of the appointment because of covid. That explanation didn't make sense to me, since I've had my annual mammograms here throughout covid and received my results at the end, every year until now. I'm grateful to have a place I trust for such an important test, but I am thinking about going somewhere else next year. Waiting a handful of days for results does not work for me, not when most other places offer same day results. I have a year to decide if I will return next year. The intake woman was friendly and quick. Post registration, paid my insurance co-pay and waited only ten minutes. They provide a vending area with complimentary soft drinks and coffee which is a great unexpected feature. The tech was kind and thorough with an outgoing personality. Very clean CAT room and went smoothly until they would not provide a CD of my images after a request to the tech, and had to drive back weeks later to obtain the CD for my surgeon. Disregarding this mishap, I highly recommend this place for radiology scans.

I was checked in 5 minutes later and called for my appointment 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment. I was in and out with a copy of the scans by 10:15. Now here's my issue. ALWAYS read the doctors imaging prescription before going. After I was brought into a private room the technician said he was going to get the IV for the contrast. I told him the order clearly stated With Out contrast. He did check the order again and verified I was correct. Thankfully I was aware and knew the difference because that could have been a major mistake.
