The intake woman was friendly and quick. Post registration, paid my insurance co-pay and waited only ten minutes. They provide a vending area with complimentary soft drinks and coffee which is a great unexpected feature. The tech was kind and thorough with an outgoing personality. Very clean CAT room and went smoothly until they would not provide a CD of my images after a request to the tech, and had to drive back weeks later to obtain the CD for my surgeon. Disregarding this mishap, I highly recommend this place for radiology scans. read more

The schedulers are a joke . I called and made my appointment for 5:15 PM. They asked me to get there 15 minutes earlier, which I did. They sent me 6 text messages confirming my appointment at 5:15 PM. Upon arrival, I was told my appointment was actually at 5:45 PM, but they asked me to get here 30 minutes earlier!!!! I explained to the lady what happened , it was like explaining to a door. This is beyond disrespectful thinking people have time to waste. read more

Rayus was one of the few facilities to offer the "dual energy" CT scan (early 2026 as I'm writing this). In fact we had to drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Boca Raton because there wasn't one available between Boca Raton and Miami. For diagnosing a questionable case of gout, the dual energy CT is a valuable resource. The referring medical office sent us to the wrong location, but the Rayus staff waited for us even though it kept them late. The report was ready within 24 hours. read more

So many negative reviews I thought I should add a positive one since that was my experience. After checking in at the front desk, as standard practice, you have to complete e-forms on a tablet every time you go. Once completed, they informed me they were about 15-20 minutes behind schedule. I helped myself to their coffee station and shortly thereafter I was taken to the MRI room. The quality of care from the two techs was great! They put foam earplugs in my ears and music headphones on top to drown out the noisy MRI machine. And they covered me with a blanket bc I was cold. There was a longer line/wait when I was leaving so I think an earlier appt (before 10:30a) is probably a quicker experience. read more

I got here 15 minutes before my appointment, the front desk is very disorganized. They greet you, give you an iPad to answer some questions and keep your drive license and insurance card until you go to a different window. After over an hour I was called in, they gave me back my docs and told me I was late, crazy... well at least the technician was super professional and treated me well. There issues from the initial contact. Somehow they mixed up my medical record with someone else. It took a while for them to locate me and separate the files. Then the day of my appointment I received a text advising me my payment today is $499, when I don't have copays on mammograms or annual procedures. Lord and behold they had the approval on someone else's medical record. In addition 1 hour before my appointment they call to reschedule one of the procedures because of an equipment issue. I may update this if we get stellar care but I am going on hour three of waiting. I called this morning and was told they take walk-ins with a doctor's note or a fax from the Dr.'s office , so I had my doctor fax it in. My doctor faxed it to them, and then Rayus called them back and required a form. I am here in line waiting for them to REGISTER me because the fax is lost(?) unless it goes to a registered patient. Not even in line for the actual xray yet. No one knows what they are doing and about 30 patients have gone ahead of us. Update: the girl we finally talked to said she was told to ignore our chart until everyone with an appointment had been seen (by Victoria). So anyone at all who came in after us was processed first and our chart was put to the bottom. All they needed to do was match the fax with our chart and put us in the regular queue. read more

I had to get some x-rays of my lower back and right knee and received orders from my PCP. Looked up in-network radiology centers from my insurance website; that was a pain i the neck but necessary. Always watching out for costs. I was able to call and schedule an appointment with Rayus Radiology in Boca Ration. After my call with them, I received links to their patient portal through my email. Was able to logon and filled out their questions as well as upload insurance card and radiology orders. Very smooth upfront process. They were able to check my insurance coverage and send me the co-pay amount before the appointment. Once I got to the facility, the intake staff took my co-pay payment and asked me to wait in the waiting room. I was called within minutes and the x-rays took all of about 10-15 minutes. No one answered the phone after 40 minutes on hold. Used to be such an easy "ordeal". Now it's just an ordeal. Never again.

I read the other reviews and realized the process, and people are part of the experience. If one person is not welcoming or competent, it can harsh the whole experience, but I had a very smooth experience here. The expectation of coming 30 min early is very clear, and if I follow the process of answering the questions before I get there and complete the text message check-in, it goes super smoothly. I found the place very clean and was in and out much earlier than expected. This is my second visit, and I found the experience to be the same pleasant, professional, and effective both times. The truth is I need good X-rays & MRI results. The rest is super nice to have. read more

It took 46 minutes on hold and to make an appointment for a bone density scan. I show up early to the appt, and the tech asked if I've taken calcium in the past 24 hours. The person who made the appt was supposed to let me know that I should not take calcium for 24 hours prior to the exam. I'd already taken time off of work to make this appt and was told to either make another appt, or that the test would be totally inaccurate. What a total waste of time. read more

On May 10, 2026, I had requested an appointment for a Carotid Ultrasound, dropped off the Docters request, and my insurance information, scheduled an appointment for May 12th, 2026. When I arrived, I was told that my insurance company denied the claim, not a necessary procedure, and it would cost $270, which I paid. On June 8th I had been speaking with my insurance company on another matter, but asked why they had declined the procedure, they informed me that they had never received the request. On June 10th I went to Rayes on Glades Road to find out why I was told that the insurance copy was never sent the request, at that time they took a picture of my driver's license and said that would do some research. As of today, I have not heard from them, I am extremely upset at this company, as a disabled veteran I feel that they are not above taking money from people to enhance their bottom line. I went in person this Sunday at 1:00 pm to Rayus, located at 23071 FL-7, Boca Raton, FL, to make an appointment. The receptionist told me to come back on Monday because she was alone and that entering my information would "take too much time." How long could it take--five minutes? The place was almost empty: there were only two patients waiting to be called for their exams and no one else in the waiting area. Clearly, the receptionist just didn't feel like working. It was my first time at this center, and the service was terrible. Very poor customer service. They should hire people who truly want to work and provide proper attention to patients. read more

Good experience. No issues with any of the staff, from the representative on the phone when I first booked my appt all the way to the radiologist and nurse who took care of me. Everyone was pretty friendly. I went there late around 8:30 PM so it was quite empty and I was the only one in line. Staff provides headphones to block out the noise of the MRI machine. This was a surprisingly easy medical appointment. I'd been given a referral by a doctor for a procedure and told they would call me to set up an appointment. And I was actually called a couple days later by their scheduling department. The scheduling department told me about their different locations. I selected this one in Boca Raton. The building faces Glades Road and is next to the Holiday Inn. They send you appointment confirmations and other information with reminders. You can also pre-register in advance. As advised, I came a bit early to fill out the balance of my paperwork. They were very clear about what to fill in on the forms. Once done, you wait for your name to be called. I was called much sooner than expected. Once in the room, the procedure was painless and fast. They seemed to have the system down pat. I'd go there again if I needed to do so. read more

I had an 11:30 PM appointment last night showed up at 10:45 and they were closed their website clearly shows they were open till 12 AM. I was not notified they weren't gonna be open. I've used them quarterly for the last three years. This is the first time they've let me down when I called today. All they said was the appointment was canceled and they couldn't even confirm what time it was last night. Sadly as with most places involving medical help it seems to be way understaffed. The wait time to pick up Barium for next day test took over an 90 minutes. Some was the amount of people here and the issues with the referral. I got a call from them at 10 am telling me I could come in and get the barium so I dropped everything and headed over and got there at 11:45am and checked in. Sat till 12:30pm to be called and told there was no referral or anything on the computer for me to get this stuff. While in the place I received a text from them concerning the appointment for the next day as well. But it took another 30 minutes of phone calls to finally get a verbal ok to give me what was needed. Not sure why but it's done now and we will see how it goes today for the scan. I am a big fan of this facility and feel lucky to be living nearby to do all of my families image work here, however, this is to give a review about medical records specifically Stacee. We had the doctor call in a stat request for a patient with possible static cancer. She not only gave me half the report however she was snarky and smirking when having to travel back to get the other half of the request, she is not professional and lovely like the rest of the staff there. read more
