Here is our experience:…read more Black chain link fence paid in full $3,422.49 via PayPal on 05/19/2026 (sadly, we were enticed by the added discount for paying in full, which left us with no leverage when the job was completely unsatisfactory). Posts were set on 06/15/2026. Chain link installed 07/07/2026. No gates. Issues we have which we communicated to the owner and have been denied and/or ignored: MATERIALS: Posts used are scratched and damaged. They appear to be scrap metal. The chain link fabric consists of many misshapen or damaged diamonds. The hardware (nuts and bolts, etc.) are rusted after being placed just one month. The top of the tension bar is also rusted. INSTALLATION: Poor quality all around. The top rail pieces do not fit together properly. The corner top rail pieces do not align properly. The fence ties are placed inconsistently throughout and are not tied off properly; sticking out in various directions. Posts are not level. Posts are different heights. The chain link is set at different heights across the top rail. We were told by the owner, that "Quality is a matter of opinion." COMMUNICATION: Dealing with the lack of communication and response has been months of utter frustration. We still have a fence made with substandard material, rusting hardware and very unprofessional installation. We have requested multiple times the Fencing Company of Omaha remove the fence and refund our $3,422.49. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU: Formal complaint filed 08/06/2026. Complaint closed with no resolution. LEGAL ACTION: Small claims suit filed in Douglas County District Court on 08/26/2026 against the Fencing Company of Omaha.

I had several bids for replacing my old fence and after discussing what they had to offer and what…read moreI wanted, I chose to go with Fencing Company of Omaha. They then referred me to a local credit union that they have partnered with for financing. The credit unions policy was to pay the contractor directly, which I had no problem with but after the fence company received the funds, it seemed they dropped off the face of the earth. After attempting to contact them multiple times with no luck, I actually thought I had been scammed! So I called the credit union expressing concern that I might have been scammed. The credit union representative knew of the customer and reached out to them on my behalf. I hadn't heard from them since they had gotten paid 2 weeks earlier. I then chased these people for 2 1/2 more months before my fence was completed. After being told a date to start, they didn't show up. I would called to find out what happened and would be given a different date. This went in for weeks. When they did finally show up after me calling them almost daily, they tore down my old fence and because they couldn't reuse the holes that were there from the previous fence, they decided to move my fence line closer to my neighbors fence (I'm not even sure if that's my property) making it impossible for us walk between both fences let alone cut the grass that grows between our yards. They then left my old fence scattered over both me and my neighbors lawn. I again called them multiple times to ask when they would come pick up the old fence and was given several different days where they didn't show up. Finally after 2 1/2 more weeks of calling to ask when my fence will be completed and when they were coming to pick up the old fence which by this time has ruined my lawn and a patch in my neighbors yard. They stated they would be there that day which was a Friday. They showed up early afternoon and started putting the fence together. They then returned the following Monday to finish. When the fence was done, it wasn't the fence I wanted. I wanted the same scalloped tops as the fence they removed. I asked a young man who looked as if he was cleaning up, if they were going to scallop my fence tops which he replied yes. I go back in the house for no more than 10 minutes, come back out to see what progress has been made and they were gone and my old fence was still there. They did finally came back 4 days later to pick up the old fence. I will not be contacting them again. I am greatly disappointed with the service I received and would not recommend using their services for your project.

They were very responsive and provided an estimate right away. My spouse was so impressed he also hired them to stain the entire deck and the fence surrounding the backyard in addition to the repair. He said he is expanding his fence business to include building simple to complex mailboxes. My mailbox was on a wooden post that was failing and had been hit by a truck so the red flag didn't work anymore and the door to the mailbox was dented pretty bad. It was ugly. It was also leaning towards the street and I'm sure it would just fall over in the next high winds. My new mailbox was installed on a sturdy metal post and looks absolutely amazing! I'm going to buy some reflective numbers to put on there and it will be perfect. Highly recommend him! He was professional, courteous and prompt.
