The second time I called him, he asked me to write down my number for him after he finished the job. We had only communicated on Yelp, so I assumed he was adding me to a customer list. I'd been happy with his work and figured I'd probably need to call him again (my irrigation is a bit of a disaster thanks to the previous owner). Then, about a month after I had him fix everything, he texted me on my cell and asked me on a date. I declined. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable and now I have to find someone else to work on my sprinklers because I feel like asking him to come back is sending a different kind of message now. So if you're a man, he's probably an okay choice for help with your landscaping or irrigation. But as a divorced woman who lives alone, I am uncomfortable having him back for any further work and I feel like other women need this information when making a decision about who to hire (or not to hire).

The crew rototilled the uneven areas, spread the dirt to even everything out and laid new sod. After a few weeks the sod is growing in nicely. They added dirt to the edges between the old grass and the new sod to even everything up and scattered grass seed. New grass is already growing in and in another week or two you won't be able to distinguish between the old grass and the new. We are really happy with the quality of their work! Absolute Lawn Care starts up our irrigation system in the spring and blows it out in the fall and maintains the system with new sprinkler heads or anything that is needed. Jason always responds immediately to phone calls and we never have to wait long for service. This is a top notch business with a reliable crew and we highly recommend them!

I was charged a twenty dollar per pallet deposit through Jason that he failed to mention was refundable. I'm guessing he was going to keep my deposit because when I spoke with Basin Sod they told me that Jason had already charged me for them. I'm now trying to get reimbursed from Basin Sod for my pallet deposit. If I would have known that he was just a middle man I would have just ordered directly from Basin Sod.

He told me to call him back on a Monday. I did so, and he once again, "Oh yeah, I can fix that, remind me on Friday." Well, um, if I have to call this person again, apparently he's not that interested in doing the job. It then occurred to me to call Herman's Landscaping. Herman is one of my customers at a local hardware store. He's always been very pleasant and friendly. So I did call Herman. He was really nice on the phone and told me that, yes he did that kind of work and would be able to help me. I called him back and set up a time for him to come fix it. He did the job and made it look even better than it was before. I would recommend him to anyone. In the Yakima Valley, there are numerous landscape places to call, but from now on, if I need that kind of help, he'll be the first one I call.

After couple years of wonderful service, decided to take advantage of their prepayment of whole…read moreyear services to get discount. After the first time of having this company perform a yard cleanup, we feel we were taken advantage of because of our prepayment. Yard guys here less than hour and a half and disappeared with a ton of work left to do. They resent them next day after their yard manager confirmed they did not complete job and after 2 walk through on same day the job was still not complete leaving obvious weeds, and debris in yard with rock and bark even in neighbors yard. The workers were disrespectful when pointed out the obvious tall weeds and leaves blown to side of fence without removal and clumps in areas not removed. When called to speak to lead manager of the business in re to incomplete job we were not allowed to talk to him with secretary letting us know they were discontinuing our services. 2 days later the yard manager called stating the same info and would not refer me to the lead manager. We were left to send certified letter about our experience and a request of resolution of refunding us our prepayment for non services, notifying the exact amount to be refunded - We did receive a refund but they failed to refund us the incomplete yard cleanup as well as a pre emergent weed control that showed no charge on our estimate and also they performed too early in winter which is what created numerous weeds to sprout that their own crew could not properly cleanup. (Close to $500 short on our refund as they held onto our money for the 2 incomplete jobs). Our landscaping lights electrical wires were ripped and sprinklers in bark beds destroyed leaving husband for days trying to fix and still trying to fix a month later. After an email sent to billing asking for the proper refund, the lead manager got involved by calling my husband on phone asking "if we could be done" - After the discussion on phone that did not offer correct reimbursement, my husband went to the office and tried to discuss the problem in person with him and ask to be refunded the 2 incomplete jobs and to not discontinue our services as we still want to keep our services for pest control and lawn weed/feed/ sprinkler services as we are happy with those services but unsatisfied with the 2 incomplete jobs. The lead manager said no and pulled out $200 cash and gave to my husband just to get rid of him in his office and be done with us and felt this would make up for refunding us less than half of what they shorted us. This business had 5 stars as they were wonderful in past until this experience of being taken advantage for prepaying and discontinuing our services after we called them about their yard cleanup crew not completing the job.
