Amazing restaurant! We stopped in for sushi and were thrilled by the portions and delicious sushi! The decor and ambiance were fantastic and wonderfully decorated for the holiday season. The service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered 4 different rolls and were shocked by the size of the premium rolls. The rolls were brought out on a wood boat and we enjoyed it with a delicious fruity milk soda. Highly recommend! read more

We arrived 10 minutes before closing and the took us in. They were very accommodating. My wife and I both had bento boxes. I had salmon teriyaki and it was marvelous. The salmon was a full size cut with vegetables that was very tasty. My wife has the sashimi and her helpings were also hearty with 9 pieces. All in addition to the sushi, rice, tempura and 4 large California rolls that used real crab. I lived 30 years near Japan town in San Francisco and this was the best salmon bento box that I ever had. The inside decor was very relaxing even though we rushed so they could go home. read more

Great sushi restaurant. I highly recommend it. The menu is varied. The food quality is very good with nice presentation. I ordered 3 appetizers and rolls, each came in perfect timing. Service was great. The restaurant interior is dark and outdated but that did nothing to lessen my enjoyment. I cant wait to get back there. read more

Best Sushi in town, easily. Great variety of sushi, and they have combination platters so it is easy for a family or couple to try multiple things in one sitting. This isn't just a sushi place though, they have the chef from the "Knotty Pine" Chinese place before they got new owners, so they have an excellent array of Chinese food as well, as their chef has been doing it for over 20 years now. They also serve Koren BBQ, along with some traditional food for the picky eaters in the family. Service is always friendly. Been to this location 15+ times and never once had bad service. I will admit not every server has their first language as English, but they understand good customer service and being polite. Please don't let this be a deterrent. Environment is great, located in a very quite area there is no outside noise pollution, and decorations feel very thematically appropriate for an Asian cuisine restaurant. It still isn't extremely well known, so at this time no reservation needed as they often have room for you. Plenty of booths in this location! Price is slightly higher, around 16-25 dollars per order, but this provides you with a lot of high quality food that is almost certain to fill you (this price includes a drink / beer). Comparing the quality of food to city sushi places that charge the same, I would say the price is actually a bargain. Overall review: 9.5/10, highly recommended as one of the most unique and tasty restaurants in Kincardine. read more

Being from Vancouver I'm a bit biased about sushi however the food was okay! We went as part of a business dinner on a Monday night. We ordered starters, a big boat of sashimi and a plate of sushi. While good the cuts of fish were very small compared to what you get in other cities closer to the ocean, they were fresh and very good. For starters we had edamame (didn't hear any complaints), dumplings which are deep fried, and vegetable tempura. The hostess/waitress was nice and also brought us some kimchi which was delicious. When you step into the restaurant it's like stepping back into 1974 with kitchy wood paneling and designs everywhere. It's fun. My one and only complaint was the amount of Fruit Flies. They really need to gas the place one night after closing then steam clean the place floors to ceiling. It was so bad at one point carrying on a conversation was difficult because everyone was waving and clapping to get them. I'd go back to try some of the korean dishes but if the flies are still there I may take my order to go! read more

I've been a few times for lunch. Good traditional Japanese food for a decent price for lunch. They also do American style Chinese food which is very tasty. The portions are large. -1 star due to a chicken teriyaki having very chewy chicken. Staff are friendly and place is clean. read more

Went in for take out about two weeks ago and the staff were very friendly and I did not have to wait long for my take out. While I was waiting the one server brought me over a sample roll to try and it was delicious! I ordered a couple of the rolls and the sushi pizza. It was fantastic! read more

The outside isn't anything to write home about and we weren't expecting much when we went in. Oh my were we surprised! Cute little restaurant inside, our server, Lily was very nice and the atmosphere was fine. It was the delicious food that will bring us back! We had the tempura veggies which were very well cooked in a traditional tempura batter. Then we had the special of the day which was the dynamite maki - really wonderful. If also came with sweet and sour chicken. This was a small portion but very tasty and included zucchini, orange and apple. We also tried the spicy scallop roll which did come very spicy. Very good food... I'm not an expert on sushi but it was very good as was the BBQ fried rice. Deceiving being attached motel but atmosphere is friendly and the wait staff attentive.
