After our roof was reshingled by them we suspected some water was leaking in from our dormer roof. We called Jordon to come back to take a look and he told us he couldn't come because he was out of town. We contacted another roofing company that came out and filled some nail pops and caulked around our chimney flashing. However, we continued to have water leak. We contacted Jordon again and he returned to the property and stated there was no issue with the roof and he believed the leaking was from our eaves and more caulking was needed around the chimney. My husband told him he would complete this work himself and did so. We even went as far as having the chimney reparged to attempt to stop the leaking because as per Jordan, the leaking was a non roofing issue. Despite all this, we've continued to have leaking from the dormer roof. My husband has not be able to reach Jordon since he came back to the property. This winter/spring we had extensive water damage. We have had to completely open up the exterior wall and ceiling of our bathroom from the water damage. When it rains we can continue to see water coming in from the dormer roof clear as day and have video footage of this. This is definitely a roofing issue despite what Jordan claims. My husband was able to reach him on his work phone and he stated he would come back out to the property and he ghosted. My husband was able to reach him again from his work phone and Jordon admitted to blocking his personal number "a long time ago." Then he proceeded to threaten him that if he messes with him he knows where he works now, "so fuck with him and find out." I am not sure what he means by this. I assume he means by leaving a review such as this or contacting the BBB or a lawyer. Clearly their 20 year warranty on workmanship means nothing and Jordon operates his business completely unprofessionally. We tried to give Jordan the opportunity to make things right and clearly he has no intent on doing so. I am leaving this review because I would hate for anyone else to be subjected to this and quite frankly Jordon does not deserve the business. Avoid this roofing company at all costs!!! I suspect Jordan will reply to this review and say that he has no idea who I am or what I am talking about or that I maybe even have the wrong company because that seems to be his common response to his poor reviews, but that's okay because I still have my receipt and I know I have the right company!

Throughout the construction process, Wendy frequently changed the contractors assigned to the project--ultimately involving four to five different teams. I was present on-site regularly and personally observed these changes. The subcontractors engaged by JP Lucky often delivered substandard work. Once deficiencies were identified, JP Lucky would dismiss the existing team and hire new subcontractors to continue. Although I fulfilled my obligations under the contract, JP Lucky failed to complete the project on time, and the work completed was defective. Due to these issues, I submitted a claim for adjudication through the Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts (ODACC), Case No. XXXX. On December 18, 2024, ODACC issued its Determination, providing copies to both the Respondent and me. The Determination ordered the Respondent to reimburse me $XXX,XXX (including HST) and $X,XXX (including HST), representing 50% of the adjudication fee. Despite my repeated demands, JP Lucky has failed to comply with the Determination or remit the required payment. While Wendy and JP Lucky initially present themselves as amicable and reliable, their conduct reveals a failure to act in good faith. Despite receiving payment for services, they have refused to return funds for work that was either unfinished or materially deficient, thereby disregarding the interests of their clients.

Without missing a beat, he provided me with a reasonable and competitive quote and Nick had his team start working on mine too (my roof is connected to my neighbour's). The team completed both of our roofs with high quality work and professionalism, and were extremely diligent in their clean-up. Then last week, I called Nick again to take a look at what appeared to be an issue with my roof. He actually remembered doing our job (even after 6 years!) and stopped by within 2 hours to take a look. He sent a couple of his guys with their ladder to check it out (it turned out to be a "stray" shingle that blew off of another neighbour's house, and no damage to my roof). They are a fly by night company that will not satisfy you. Their workmanship is terrible and even worst is their customer service. After dealing with squirrels in my attic and hiring a wildlife company to get them out and install protection to the entire house I proceeded to get my attic insulation removed and replaced. i then decided to get my roof done due to the damage. I met with Crystal and explained the entire situation including the squirrels and protection. I was very clear that the protection was to be put back or left in place. I was not willing to risk the squirrels getting back in after spending almost $800 on pest control. There was a lot of "yes sirs" and "we'll take care of it" talk but in the end it turned out they didn't replace the pest control measures and the squirrels got back in! I had to spend another $800 to do it all over again. When I went back to Crystal she flat out told me it wasn't their problem. She even sent me a doctored photo of my house before the new roof was installed where she photoshopped out the mesh over the vents! I of course had photos clearly showing the protection in place and sent them it to her. she did not respond. She then proceeds to tell me that the guys that did the work did not see the protection and that I didn't tell them to put it back. As if it was my responsibility to manage her crew. These are the same guys that left the back of my house a complete disaster by leaving all the garbage behind, broke the motion light at the soffit by the front of the house and didn't even collect payment at the end of the job. It was dark by the time they finished and I was dealing with my kids as they were cleaning up. I came out to see if they were done as it got very quite. Turns out they they were in such a hurry to get out of there they did even remember to get paid. I had to call Crystal and have them sent back to make payment. Thats right I had to call them back to get paid!
