It's been over one year now, since Gus and Corey from Logik Oshawa came to our Pickering 3-level family home in December 2023 and did a fantastic job insulating our roof! Mark coordinated the morning install, and the guys showed up on time, friendly and ready to go. They removed their shoes, had protective footies and only needed to be shown where the attic hatch was located. They then took care of the rest. Our roof had older or poorer insulation which caused much heat loss in Winter especially over the garage, plus the upstairs level to get very hot in Summers. Their job involved taking out the old insulation, and spraying newer and better quality fluffy material along the entire roof. Gus and Corey were very generous with how much they sprayed and went into all the corners and spaces. They made sure to spray not just required amount to code, but topped up the insulation height all over and showed us pictures so we could verify for ourselves. They also gave us tips on how to keep the home best insulated. I've gone up into the attic myself and verified, the job was well done and that it will last. We've now gone through all Canadian seasons, including a couple Winters - and I can definitely say the home is much more energy efficient! The central heating stays much warmer in cold Winter weather, and the same A/C has been working better and more cool in the Summer, especially for all the bedrooms. So my family is having more comfy sleep at nights and definitely getting more out of our furnace, AC, window panes, etc and saving on our energy bills. I am happy to endorse Logik, a Family-Owned, very professional and (Canadian) business for the work and service they provided. On April 22, 2022, Mark, Gus and Corey, came to our house to do an upgrade in winterproofing, our Home, they were very professional and completed the job for us and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. The job was not easy it took about 4 hours. We have a crawlspace for a basement and it is not the greatest to work down there. My husband and I are seniors and very much appreciated the great work these guys did for us through the Home Winterproofing plan with Enbridge. This is an overdue review for Logik Roofing. They were very personable and pleasant in each of our meetings. My wife and I hemmed and hawed for over a year gathering quotes from scores of roofing companies. When we finally got off the pot we selected Logik. To our surprise they honored the previous years quote! It wasn't the very cheapest quote but we decided to use Logik because of the materials they use and we liked the folks we talked to. It took two days for the crew to strip the old shingles and install the fancy new ones add downspouts and new vents. The work crew were very courteous and polite and never seemed to stop working. After they cleaned up I couldn't find one shingle fragment or nail (until about a year later I found a nail hanging off a branch in a shrub). Very impressive. So over a year since having this fairly large roof with half a dozen pitches I haven't been able to find any issues with Logik's installation or the materials they use (Landmark shingles barrier). I'm quite pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or family. With this glowing review one may wonder why only four stars. This is because one of the cedar shakes was left hanging (not their fault but the could have straightened it. The other reason is that they spell logic with a "k" and that's just wrong. Those who stayed with this review congratulations on your attention span! Those who skipped to the end congratulations on your desire to get to the point quickly by reading: all and all a very good experience was had with Logik Roofing and I recommend them for anyone in Durham Region needing a roof. Edit: Just had a wicked wind storm and many of my neighbours' roofs were damaged not just the ones with original roofs but those with newer roofs than mine. I can only chalk this up to the splendid job the Logik crew did on my house as the only damage my house had was from pieces of my neighbour's roof hitting my garage door. 5 Stars now poor spelling or not! read more

I got Logik to do my roof In 2010 and was very pleased with both the price and workmanship. I have had them come back a few times for missing shingles because of animals or wind.
