    Mini Kitchen

We found this place randomly driving around Long Beach after deciding to stay a night. Can you say love at first site...ok not that far but it was a great stay!! The Bungalow's are cute on the outside and inside was wonderful. Great colors, a fire place, king size COMFY bed, flat screen TV, mini kitchen, dining area, eco-friendly, and a view of the beach for only 115.00!! I would have given five stars except how low the ceilings were in the bathroom, and that the DVD player didn't work. I heard they allowed pets which is awesome too. Then there was the evening snack. We got a wonderful bottle of wine and some unbelievable truffles. YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY. We got up the next morning after an amazing night's sleep and had breakfast. The meals were so inexpensive and superb! Great atmosphere and the portions were huge. When we got home I asked my boyfriend if we could go there again the next morning (we live two hours away), he laughed but we highly considered it. This is for sure my favorite and a must stop whenever I am in the area. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Flat screen TV w/ DVD player & fire place.

This place is fantastic! My boyfriend and I found it while driving by. Affordable prices and very quality units. The bungalows are beach chic & SO CUTE! Our unit had a deck which was perfect for relaxing outside with a glass of wine. Great for private beach getaways. Only down side is the wifi is slow/fades in & out.

    Bungalow 8 was great!

We arrived at 5ish and the nice woman with the broken foot checked us in. That was all pretty smooth. It is close to the ocean. Parking is fine. They had board games, ice water, coffee and some snacks in the lobby along with an ice and vending machine. It was quiet the night we stayed with few guests. There is a restaurant on site that serves beer, paninis, and flatbreads, along with other bar type snacks. The rooms are well appointed with a tv,microwave, fridge, fireplace. No a/c but we didn't need it. Beds have piles of fluffy pillows. There was a coffee maker, coffee and tea, toiletries, and plenty of fresh towels. In the morning there is free breakfast so we grabbed juice, yogurt, and honey buns. There was also fruit, hardboiled eggs, some other simple things to eat This was a very good place to stay. We would stay again.

It's a one floor motel so no worries about accessibility. Our room was refurbished and the decor was modern and cool. They had these felt panels on the walls that made it look modern in a good way and the room was huge and spacious. The windows opened so we could get fresh air and they have smart TVs. The room was extremely clean. In the lobby they serve breakfast which is basically a hard boiled egg, Svenhards type pastry, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, so temper your expectations. What's nice is that at night, when the staff is away, the lobby offers hot drinks like coffee, tea, and they even had microwave popcorn. How cool is that? They have a saloon attached, but we came on a cool weekday so they closed up shop and wasn't serving food or drinks so that was a let down. Mind you, this hotel is not on the beach, but it's a short walk away. It's not fancy, but it's centrally located and I'm happy to stay here again.

The group of artists is diverse, thoughtful, and deeply engaged. You're in conversation all day long, whether that's over shared meals, spontaneous collaborations, or late night talks that somehow become the most meaningful part of the experience. It's rare to find a space where people show up this open and this willing to connect. The programming strikes a great balance. There's structure when you want it, like readings, performances, and workshops, but also plenty of unstructured time to follow your own creative instincts. The first floor of the historic lodge is very inviting. Listening to vinyl records in the homey living room was relaxing. They offer a good selection of creative snacks, grocery, and nick nacks. Two of the rooms were very spacious, we enjoyed use of the retro kitchen and eating on the balcony. Go enjoy a movie from an ample VHS selection. The door of some trailers were finicky to operate. Other than that the bed sagged a bit and more hooks would have been nice. The proximity to what Long Beach has to offer - including The Depot next door - is a huge plus. This was a great spot for our large wedding party. Props to being dog kind and employing a friendly and accommodating staff.
