Biryani City did not disappoint! If you love Indian cuisine then Biryani City is a must try Indian Restaurant! The service at Biryani City was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was great. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about providing a welcoming atmosphere and great service. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and that my experience was valued. One of the highlights of my visit was the staff's extensive knowledge about the menu. The gentleman who waited on us graciously took the time to explain each dish we had questions about in detail, helping me navigate through the many options. Their honest advise allowed me to make informed choices, and my wife and I were thrilled with the food that we ordered! Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply outstanding and the best Indian food I've ever had! Biryani City truly lives up to its name, as the chicken biryani I had there was the best I have ever tasted. I asked for it to be very spicy and it was the PERFECT amount of heat to flavor that I was hoping for. The flavors were rich, fragrant, and balanced. Each dish was a delightful explosion of authentic Indian spices and aromas. The restaurant's skill and pride in the menu were evident in every dish we tried. In addition to the Biryani, we had several naan varieties, Chicken Tikka Masala, and a chicken appetizer that was amazing. The diverse selection of curries, naan, roti, dosa, and many other options left me spoiled for choice. Every dish was prepared with such attention that enhanced the overall taste and authenticity.. In conclusion, my visit to Biryani City was an absolute delight. The attentive service, knowledgeable staff, and exceptional food quality have left an indelible impression on me and we will certainly be back, probably within the week! If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking for a great cuisine experience, I highly recommend Biryani City. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Good Halal food carts have a place very near and dear to my heart, there is a void there aching to be filled here in Wilmington so, although I'd love to rave about this place, I can't. But, They have POTENTIAL! The food is mediocre, lacking the explosion of flavor I crave from ethnic cuisine. The fried chicken was good, 3 stars, the chicken and rice was fresh, juicy, but seemed to be just salted and powdered with a few dry spices which were faintly in the background. Chicken and rice is served with broccoli, not the cool fresh crisp contrast I'm used to. I asked for spicy and they threw a few pickled jalapeños into the mix, but it didn't really work. On the plus side their 'crack sauce' is some of the best I've tasted. The tandoori chicken had a nice crust on it, but again was lacking in flavor. The rice tasted like rice, nothing special and a bit rubbery. They are disorganized, but friendly. I will go back to sample their other offerings. I truly hope they are able to recover.
