The price was fair and he seemed reliable, so I hired him to do the work in 3 or 4 days. Due to weather and scheduling other projects, he actually came out just 2 days later. It was fantastic to drive up to my house and see a brand-new gate. Larry and his assistant were finishing up with the post. They had to remove a patch of concrete, then pour new concrete. The new post is very sturdy. Both of them were polite and friendly. Larry said he prefers cash or cashier's checks for payment. Based on this job, I highly recommend Heartland.

The project: rebuilding a 75' privacy fence along the one side of our property to match the other two sides. We were happy with the quote and timeline and moved forward on the project. The one thing that I think would have kicked this experience up a notch would be proactive communication updates on the project each day - even if it were a simple text of where things stand. Based on original conversations, it appeared that knocking out the project in two days would be possible (we and our neighbors both have big dogs to keep separated).unfortunately, the project ended up being more of a five day endeavor due to an error by the builders (the Pretty side of the fence was built facing the wrong direction but they quickly corrected it after we addressed it). Did not approve of the owner calling me right after the office called to confirm materials and sizing and try to down-sell me so he could make more on us. From a business perspective, I get it, but not cool! We were warned that private utilities (i.e. irrigation) was our responsibility, however they did not take care to avoid. We were told they would hand dig, but did not. Irrigation was broken in 2 places against back fence line. No one cared to look at schematics provided. It looks nice in the ground and keeps our kids safe.
