Auntie went for the shrimp scampi linguine, and she said that was how gourmet scampi should be! I stayed with the classic spaghetti and meatballs. The tomato sauce was perfect: clinging to the noodles, not watery as are some. The 100% beef meatballs were great. We all quit eating & packed leftovers so we would have room for desserts. The other thing Abruzzo's is known for are their cheesecakes. The display case when we walked in was enough to convince us. I wish I had gone with a cheesecake slice, but chose the adequate cannoli. Hubby chose the towering slice of chocolate cake, which he was unable to finish but was added to the carry-out goodies. Auntie ordered the banana pudding cheesecake to go. She said it was heavenly. We were surprised at the reasonable cost for the dinners, especially given the rate of everything else at this point!
